brilliant video! Makes me want to try out kitbashing myself :) I was thinking maybe you can make the back wings come out of the chaos marine backpack thrusters (where it's skulls, instead of the regular exhausts). So the wings can come out of the "skull's" open mouth. Anyway just a thought, good luck!
@@jorgemontero6384 Yeah, that's one barrier. I can sculpt to fill assembly gaps, but it takes a while until you can make major details that are indistinguishable from the original kit after painting. 3:51 so fucking true for the Scale Bro’s website. The amount of sick helmet designs paired with ones I’ll never use is ridiculous. Every 5 helm pack has 2 I like and 3 I don’t and to top it off with shipping and the high price point makes them a hard sell. I hope that dude see’s this vid and makes some good innovative changes to his website/packing formula. It’s a damn shame cause I think those bits could be more common among the 40k crowd
I'm a fairly new sculptor and I DID the thing buying the packages with all the cool looking tools and tried using them haha! While I found other usages for them later I never used any of them for sculping in clay after the first try. My favorite beginner tools so far? A scalpel and toothpicks. I've made plenty of fur coats and hats fiddling with these and it's really fun! My next step is trying out your tips and tricks :) thanks for making this video!
I tend to get back to my miniatures every winter and I've been watching some of your videos for the last few days and have gotten many great ideas and new things to try. Thanks!
Saw each of those individual videos when you released them and gladly listened to them in the background again with this compilation during my hobby session. All for the algorithm!
Love your compilation videos, Kitbashing always feels stressful so seeing videos like this make it seem more manageable as long you go slow and take your time. Which can be hard because inspiration can make one very excited
A fantastic conversion Trovarion! The attention to detail was impressive and it has certainly given me some great ideas. I’m certainly looking forward to see you paint it, ready for competition. As for the kit-bashing videos; all I can say is please keep them coming!
God DAMN you went crazy on that Brother of Battle hahaha!! I was grinning non-stop as you were finishing up the sculpting and painting! Such a fun sculpt, and insane execution. ~
Awesome stuff. True quality content rather than some of the usual clickbaity filler from some other channels. Hope it gets the views it deserves. The only suggestion I would have is to add chapters for easier navigation in the video.
I've done most of my scupting with a normal sort of thickness sewing needle mounted in some PCL plastic to make a nice handle. But I have found those 'default' sculpting tools very useful for the wide variety of shapes they come with - its a good roughing tool, does a good job of pushing stuff around in that early phase. Plus those tools are cheap and have enough meat in them you can reshape the tips for textures you need to stamp out.
Really like content on conversions, kitbashing and even sculpting (even though I am still a beginner, still nice to see what you can do if you put the hours in).
Great video thanks so much for putting in all this effort, I learned a bunch of tips and tricks. I hope worrying less about the algorithm and following your passion more pays off so you can keep making this type of content

21:07- Yeah…… I’ve never used this brand before….. but I have used Green Sh!t…….. oh, sorry… Green Stuff before! And OH BOY! What a horrible time almost every single time!!! I think my biggest issue I had every time was getting the green stuff to actually stick to what and where I wanted it to go!!! Like what you were just showing right before this time stamp, I would get the leg thing to stick for about 10% of it….. and then when I went up a bit higher to keep pushing it back to connect it would ALL let go and would NEVER STICK AGAIN!!! And I NEVER found a happy medium for it to NOT stick to my fingers but would stick to plastic!!! I want to say I probably went though at the least 5 packs of green stuff (never more than 2% of it at a time) trying to figure out why people like it so much and how to use it to work properly and actually stick to where I wanted it to go!!! And….. yeah….
Only on the first mini atm, but your sculpting skills are incredible. Amazing stuff, dude, amazing. EDIT - my only disappointment is not seeing it painted! Can't wait for that in a future vid down the line! EDIT 2 - the paint job on the sister is epic; painted mini need satisfied!

Emperor protect! You are doing amazing work!
Thanks for this one. After your job on Coteaz, I was keen to do more conversion
You are a conversion beast! Amazing stuff!
I'm just going to sit here and wallow in all the kitbashing awesomeness for 2 hours
Interesting spelling of 'bask'
Just gonna comment for the algorithm because 2 hours is an insane amount of content. :)
I don’t usually like the design of the night lords but you knocked it out of the park these guys go crazy
So good. Thank you for sharing this.
Tamiya quicktype putty is also excellent. Easier to blend than greenstuff, not as grainy as milliput and also sandable.
Can we see a destroyer lord in a silver nnm? I'd really love to see how that would look and learn some idears, love your painting style btw🎉
That inquisitor sculpting was insane. Blew my mind watching you do that.

hes said in old sculpting videos that he uses standard milliput
@@GoalOrientedLifting ty for your answer, I remember it, but the milliput look so white on video that i had a doubt
standard miliput is good enough! the superfine white becomes too brittle and is so much more hassle to work with. It's even stickier than standard.
