Thank you for this step-by-step masterpiece. Just changed the brake light on my wife's Odyssey. The only difference was that her brake light was the one on top. I appreciate the the tutorial.

A how to do it when the screw head strips would be nice @@DANDLINC. I have a 2005 Honda Oddesy with a different set up again. I pulled off the inside panel behind the light and of course, the globe I need to change is not accessible from the panel and I can't undo the screws because they stripped when I used the right shape screwdriver and can't access with a spanner cause it's to tight a space around them. This has been designed by men to make females feel useless. AND to pay someone a fortune for a job I SHOULD be able to do on my own.

@@grandmasmagic3858 I had the same thing happen to me on my 2006 Odyssey. The screws were rusted and wouldn't budge. I ended up having to drill them out. Now I'm going to preemptively unscrew the same screws off my 2016 Odyssey because I'll eventually have to change those one out too.

Very nice video! Well done!!! As an alternative to using a wooden shim, one could put a long piece of clear & colourless moving / packing tape on the side of the lense and pull the tape straight back to release the lense from it's attachment pin. This alternative approach avoids the risk of breaking the paint with an wedged object.

Great how-to video! My suggestion: do the other side immediately while you have your tools handy. By the time I got around to replacing one, the other had already burned out. It’s easier once you’ve done one, and they sell them in 2-packs for a reason :)

I used a shoelace. You have to improvise.

WHO THE F DESIGNS THESE CARS? MEN, BLOODY MEN. I have the tools but the screw head stripped with the phillips and I can't grasp the edges of it with a spanner to turn it without stripping the edge. All I want to do is change the globe but why would a man make that easy to do? This is BLOODY stupid. If I get a fine for having only one reversing light I will put the full blame on MEN.
