I love watching rhythmic gymnastics, but it is not as simple or easy as it looks. Her flexibility may be lacking, but Cao Lu really used the hoop effectively. Bravo!!
her flexibility is awesome for someone that doesnt do gymnastics only her posture is not right but is totally normal since she is not trained... she did an amazing job for an amateur

PhanefromBabylone no, she did Chinese traditional dance. Which has similar foundation of ballet. Ballet wouldn’t allow chengxiao to do flexibility and tumbling and all. Traditional Chinese dance incorporates, gymnastics, and ballet.

This perfomance was really nice, but i think she looks so much tense (nervous maybe) and that's why she did a littles mistakes
she was the real winner of the competition since she was the only one who trained herself in several hours for her creative routine , other girls just showed their flexibility by randomly performing everything they could do !
There's ChengXiao tho...
Even if she trained herself, at the end of the day they're judged based on their "performance" during the competition. The point of Rhythmic Gymnastic that their scores are based on their technique and execution, where ChengXiao did hard techniques by her flexibility and "anything she can do" with smooth dance step and execution.
I really appreciate CaoLu's work and training for this that it makes her get the silver. I hope she could get better and better as well❤
CX practiced for a month but whatever
Her routine was creative and I'm sure she worked hard but her technique was not fantastic. At the end of the day it's all up to your performance on the floor, doesn't matter how much you practise... even if you practised for months but make mistakes during the competition, then there goes all of your points.
The other girls did a good job, and Cheng xiao deserved her win based on performance.

This was absolutely incredible. Not good, not "just one mistake", but incredible. It takes natural gymnasts years to get to that level of competency, and how long did she have to learn this and prepare this routine? If I had to guess, this is a testament not just to her, but the incredible talent, dedication, intelligence and strength of all kpop women. I wish they were able to use it to the fullest in their work, less cutsie and starvation diet, and more of this and no divide between "boys dance" and "girls' dance moves." Oops, that turned into a rant. Hope at least one person appreciates it

can we talk about how lovely her performance were?😭 for me cao lu is cheng Xiao's true rival in isac. everytime she performs she is always one with the apparatus,clean and lovely transitions. those routines are difficult but makes it look so easy. She may not be very flexible but her mastery in her apparatus is already a big plus.
I dont know her and why I am watcing idols gymnasts videos for one hour but damn...She is really beautiful.

I really am not trying to sound rude, but the proper term is "hoop". The apparatus for rhythmic gymnastics is not a hula-hoop, it is a hoop. It is made of different material and for a different reason.
