I usually watch Crash Course videos for fun. This is the first time I’ve watched one for a class. I was so excited to see that my bio teacher had listed crash course as a source we should check out.
Can you imagine if someone was panicking because their house was burning down and their fellow looked at them, turned to their third friend and said "ignore him, he's just being hormonal"... god I hate it when people say that.
These concise and well made videos are how educators should teach. Especially in broad fields/classes this is telling us the broad strokes in ways that let us remember said knowledge; while still allowing new information to fit into the knowledge.

I do recommended this to anyone who is having trouble understanding physiology based concepts to gain the gross knowledge. My school got shut down for a month because of Hurricane Florence, so we've been playing catch-up the whole semester, to the point where we've had to teach ourselves a lot of the content. But thanks to your videos, I've been able to master concepts I had previously cried over at 1 AM because I couldn't comprehend them, and now my GPA might actually be good enough for grad school! Isn't one of the issues with Diabetes (Type 2) that insulin is released but the cells are resistant to it since their receptors are blocked (with fat)?
