- We bought an Aluminum Trailer Company ATC bumper pull RV. It's the 2513 model. It's also a toy hauler. We'll be taking our Polaris RZR Trail S with us and we'll be taking you along for our trail rides via video! This is our first RV. We plan on it being our last one. We went all out on quality
This is our introduction to our new RV. We tell you a lot about it, not everything, but a lot!
We plan on turning this channel into our travel vlog. We'll be uploading this vlog on a fairly routine schedule. We have trips planned the rest of this year as well as a few early into next year. Our next trip is in September. We'll be headed to the trails of Arkansas and meeting up with a friend that resides there! We hope you SUBSCRIBE and hang out with us on our adventures!

Thats niiiiiiiiiiceee! Love it..... I modified an enclosed trailer to pull behind my Class A to allow extra bedroom sleeping and toy/hauler as it has flip up bed. Very modern and nice looking trailer guys!
Thanks so much. We love it. What toy are you hauling? Class A sounds super nice and way out of our price range. Also, we didn't want to drive something that big. Ben has to take me to an empty parking lot and teach me how to back it.

Man that’s nice! I see them all the time at the campground over on the beach and at the Wambaw Trails down the road. But I don’t think I’ve ever seen the inside up close. Very well built in my opinion.

@@ACMEMowing it is awesome to travel. Get to a spot and don’t like it, just move on. For me it is about seeing nature’s beauty. Some pretty cool stuff out there if you slow down and open your eyes. I think we are headed to the pacific coast this winter. Love the ocean!
@@EdenLawnServices I loved camping at Black Mesa State Park. Because we didn't have Internet, I was able to put my phone down and just enjoy the nature and the conversations that we had. It's nice to disconnect once in a while.

That sink faucet will actually pull out a lot farther than that - it's either caught on something underneath or they have the stop pushed up too high on the line. Just pull out your top drawer and take a look!

You're welcome. We love our camper and I think you will enjoy your camper, too. My husband and I love to research everything before we spend the money. There were only a few videos on the ATC, so we decided to do one on ours to help people make a more informed decision. We will be making more once we get it back.
Great, one thing about aluminum is it transfers heat, you can pick up the opposite end of a burning stick, but a piece of aluminum or steel, the unheated end will also be hot.
An awning to cover your trailer would solve your AC issue, which they should make such a thing. Maybe you should create a whole trailer awning and get rich.
So glad you found a good dealer, good dealers should be shouted from the rooftops but bad dealers should be shouted even louder, we need to put the bad ones out of business, same with manufacturers.
I was looking at these but way out of my price range, hopefully it works out for you.
We have the awning on the curb side, but in 106 degree temperatures, the only thing that works is to have 2 air conditioners. ATC definitely builds a quality trailer. We can't wait to get Freedom back. Camping season is right around the corner. Thanks for watching.

Gary, thanks so much. We worked all of our lives just for our retirement. I watched my parents live off of the Social Security welfare and I didn't want that for me. We've got more videos coming out, so stay tuned.

I'm assuming that you meant that your generator uses a gallon of gas per hour. If I'm wrong and you have a 5500 watt generator that only uses one gallon every 24 hours... I'm getting one! 😂

That gas pump is such a nice feature! Never saw that on a toy hauler before. Can the bed be used with something like motorcycles in the back or do the toys all need to be taken out?
Hank, yes the gas tank is a nice feature. It holds 35 gallons of gas. If you want to use the happy-Jack system, you will have to take the toys out.
Can I make a suggestion? Ok, thanks! Make a cool avatar, thumbnail or whatever you call it for the channel. A few times I’ve almost missed videos. I’m a visual person and I’ve luckily caught “KH” in the wording in a second or third scroll.

I wish you luck in your travels. Buying an RV was the biggest mistake I ever made. If you are on here long you will see many like me. It’s a money pit that just don’t stop.
I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. We've heard lots of stories about bad frames and how some campers are made poorly, that's why we bought this particular camper. There is no wood in this camper at all, it is all aluminum. Thanks for commenting and checking the video out.
Why is the pricing on ATC products as illusive as Sasquatch. No one has has or shares the pricing on these completely finished interior haulers. I fear the pricing is most likely double what a toy hauler cost. Would you mind sharing what these options are you chose is priced at ? I kind of feel like that is the most important part of reviewing a product.
It is all aluminum construction, which means that it will last longer than any other toy hauler out there. There is no wood, only composite materials on the inside. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Two AC's are a good idea. If your lucky, ATC might have a hot wire already in place near that vent opening. Is the trailer still 100% aluminum or part Azdel ?
I agree that 2 AC's are better. We went through the hottest part of last summer and realized we need 2. The trailer is 100% aluminum.
@@hanginwithkh2021 A large dealership in Texas puts a second AC in any RV 27 foot or longer. They got tired of customers complaining about inadequate cooling. Dealers commonly sell with only one as it's cheaper for them to buy.
@@T18skyguy our trailer is only 25 feet long. We took it back to the manufacturer because we wanted to get a couple of other things done besides the air conditioner.
Overall, great video. Helpful info and ideas, but you need a camera with stabilization, maybe a gimbal. Maybe it's my intoxication levels, but I almost got seasick watching. No negativity! Just some critiques

We have some leveling blocks if needed. We use a manual level to verify we get it right!
So is the 100AH Lithium and 200W solar enough? Or do you find yourself charging with the genset? Can the inverter handle the microwave or do you have to run the genset?
For what we've done so far, it's enough. We have not had an overnight yet where we've depended on the solar. We haven't even run the microwave without being hooked up to 50amp. I'm not sure it's even possible. I'll test it out next trip! We're headed to the Black Hills of South Dakota in August! Cannot wait. We do plan to do some boon-docking in the future. I'm betting we will not be satisfied with our current configuration. If it turns out that we enjoy boon-docking we will most likely need to upgrade. It works great keeping all the food in our fridge fresh and cold for days while we travel.
Have you got your 2513 back from the shop yet?
We dropped it off on 23 October. Hoping to get a status update soon. Nothing yet. We expected it to take a while though. The garage modification will take a while. We're also getting a second A/C installed in the bedroom. We're in Oklahoma. We found out last year that the 106 temps were no competition for the single AC unit we opted for when we bought it. It kept things 'livable'....but we like it much cooler. This should do it!
When you run the generator does it stay on that location or so you move it?
The generator stays where it is, we don't move it.

Is the 2513 pre wired from the breaker box to the bedroom vent for an A/C unit ?
We're taking the camper back to the manufacturer for a repair so we can use our gate. At that time, we're going to have another air conditioner installed in the bedroom. We're not sure if it was pre-wired, but we will ask and comment when we get the answer. Thanks for watching our channel.
The 2513 is not pre-wired for a second air conditioner. If you want two air conditioners, you should order them when you place your order for the camper. One of the reasons we took it back to the factory is because we wanted ATC to install it and that way it would be wired into the main control panel.

@@mancavechronicles2139 we looked at the 2816, but went with the 2513 because we were originally going to pull it with our 2021 Toyota Tundra. Then we decided to buy a Ford F-250 because we didn't want to worry about weight issues. We're super happy with the 2513. You will be so happy you're getting an ATC camper. We love ours.
