I just had to google this. I figured "maybe there's a precedent for it?" Like, maybe animals really do eat pine needles before hibernating. But I couldn't find an article about animals eating pine needles. Instead... I found a disturbing number of articles about _humans_ eating... treestuff. How to eat your Christmas tree. Make pine needle tea. Fir and Birch are apparently better tasting than the traditional pinetree. People are weird.
@Dave Marx Well actually regarding to animals, those who hibernate do eat pine needles, but it’s because in winter it’s pretty much all they can find (coz yes, they do wake up from time to time to go eat before getting back to sleep again), but not necessarily *before* hibernating

Since this is apparently the only video here with comments: I began to get into this about two weeks ago and now I'm hooked. Glad to see the comments have not yet been removed on this video, although I assume that will change due to RUclips’s new policy on kids content. Don’t get me wrong. I think the way many “kids” channels exploit children on this website is disgusting, but ultimately that is on the parents for not controlling their kids access to RUclips. The site is for people 13 and up. Simple as that. Doesn’t mean that people cant upload or watch child friendly content on RUclips, or even that parents can’t watch such videos with their kids, but it DOES mean that parents need to take responsibility if their children come across any disturbing or questionable content on this site. RUclips is not public access tv. If they have issue with that, then that’s what the RUclips Kids app is for (I know that has its own slew of problems, but it’s a more controlled environment for a kid than youtube proper) It’s just sad to see that this is the approach youtube is deciding to take. Just because this and other shows are geared towards children doesn’t mean they don’t have universal appeal. I’m now in my early 20s and didn’t grow up watching this show, yet here I am watching it because of how wholesome and genuine it is. And part of what made coming across this show great was seeing how that wholesomeness carried onto the community, and much of that community feel has been lost now that the comments have been disabled on many of these videos. There’s gotta be a another way for RUclips to be COPPA compliant that doesn’t involve completely removing the comments on kid friendly channels like this. Get your act together, Susan.

Alright, now that they've been posted on the official channel, I have to say, I don't mind Moominpappa's new voice at all. I had previously sampled some clips from the VHS rips, but all those VHS rips make the voices sounded funny, because they're pitched differently. I really don't mind the new voice actor now that the official Moomin channel has posted the latest episodes. He still has the same mannerisms, and tries to emulate the previous actor, even though the voice is totally different.
I think the only reason this video has comments enabled, is due to the last scene with the little characters drinking what appears to be wine. Under RUclips COPPA policy, they couldn’t mark this video as made for children. It’s dumb, I know. I grew up on cartoons like Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, and All Dogs Go To Heaven, which had alcohol use, but hey. At least the comments aren’t disabled! :)

Omg episode 41 was the one I was waiting for, sorry to see comments disabled, I went down several times during my first watch, there's just so much good in one episode.
The Snork decided to not hibernate that winter, to work on the redesign of his flying ship. So Snorkmaiden would be hibernating with the Moomin family. Moominmama said it was less lonely to hibernate when someone else is sleeping in the same room.
Before comments get disabled does anyone know if the channels following any sort of schedule ? I started watching this show when this channel only had a few of these episodes so i had to watch on random websites. So there's still lots of episodes I haven't found and I'm excited to watch the 50's episodes but that seems like it won't be for another month.
I noticed them going at about two episodes a week, one on Tuesday and one on Saturday. It's not always that exact but it's the only pattern I've noticed. The holidays probably slowed things a little bit there.

Gorm Auslander there is no control about it, YT's algorithm does all the censoring job. You can get fined for 1,350 (approximately, forgot the exact amount) if you upload a vid marking "Not for kids" and the algorithm saying "NOPE"
