To all the parents who encourage their kids to play, ferry them to rehearsals, and pay for the lessons and instruments you've done your part to make the world a better place. Thank you!
Divine... If only the composer himself, Johann Pachelbel, could get to witness the joy his music still brings several hundred years after his passing. Thank you!
This is 8 years old 😂 i was one of the kid playing in the video lol now I'm 20 already it's funny to see myself showing at a random channel 8 years after😂
You guys did an amazing job! You probably don’t realise it, but I’m sure you touched some peoples’ hearts and inspired them. Maybe somebody, that day, was about to give up and they heard this and it was enough to keep them pushing forward. You can always be proud if this. You should be.
From the smiles on the kids' faces as they were joining the group, you could see that they were prepared and excited. THOSE are the kind of young people that the world needs more of.
This was wonderful seeing these young musicians streaming in and join in seamlessly. The parents deserve a lot of praise for supporting their children in their endeavors. I love this particular piece they played.
What makes this extra special & extra impressive is......looks what's missing......no sheet music!!! These guys are playing the entire piece from memory!!!
This was played at a dear friend's funeral service; at a local beach, where her ashes were spread.. Still brings tears to my eyes... and it was 10 years ago..@@deborahkirk8894
These are the experiences that children from around the world should be hearing and seeing!!! Teaching them to play an instrument and with that the great classical works.....WOW!!! And this is why I believe that Andre Rieu should get the Nobel Peace Prize......He brings people together for the greater good.......I pray that all these kids here have great futures playing or singing like they have beautifully done here!!!!!!!!!

What a wonderful performance! The most amazing part was that nobody was reading music, all had the entire thing memorized, a rare accomplishment even for adults.
It was in the Baroque era - roughly 1600-1750 - that the notion of the orchestra really came into its own, and composers started to layer instruments up in complex polyphony - different musical parts - and harmony. 3:23 [Classic FM]
The word “canon” comes from the Greek kanṓn, for “rule” or “standard.” In canons, the general rule is this: one voice plays the melody, and after some interval of time, the second voice plays the same melody, then the third voice, and so on. In Pachelbel’s score, while the three upper voices play lofty melodies, the bass voice, typically performed on the cello, is stuck playing a pattern of just eight notes over and over, and over, for 27 repetitions in total. [WQXR]
One of the most beautiful pieces of music composed, and the wonderful talent these children have, simply amazing. I just wish that every one in the crowd and the musicians would smile, this is such a joyful ,happy composition.
It is so sad the US does not provide the funding for the arts to be a priority in schools. It teaches our youth so much more than music. This is beautiful. So much so, it brought me to tears.
The teachers are too tied up worrying about pronouns and trying to convince the pupils that a woman can have a penis. Schools are no longer about education and cultural enrichment, they are centres for indoctrination.
I was fortunate enough to grow up in a community that did encourage children to participate in music programs and the like. I learned the basic themes to a good deal of Gilbert & Sullivan, and a profound appreciation of what music involves. One day on a walk, my wife asked me to tell her the notes n a B-flat minor scale. From memory of what I had learned in school, I did it.
It’s the same in the uk. Only the privileged get the chance to learn a musical instrument. I can play the ukulele (up to a point) but I’ve been teaching my oldest grandson for about 2 years and who is 11 now. If he wanted to do it at secondary school it would cost too much. It’s a shame. I did violin at junior school as it was free and loved it so much. When I went to secondary I knew my parents couldn’t afford it so told them I didn’t want to do it any more. I really did though. Shame but that’s life!!
What a great performance by the children of Taiwan playing this beautiful wedding song. This pachelbel song has been played in weddings in the US and the western world since the 80s.
It’s nice to see how these kids play at their age, it’s just too bad kids in America are far more concerned with what isn’t between their legs than achieving goals and dreams that would benefit them later in life..
I salute all those brilliant talented Children for their wonderful talent, and their parents for taking the time, to help them become the the talented children they are, and of course their teachers, they make the world a better place with their music, and of course carry on such a great musical legacy for the likes of Pachelbel, Mozart etc who no doubt worked tirelessly in creating such beautiful pieces
This piece never fails to move me to tears especially now since my mom passed away a mere 14 months ago and I have not stopped grieving daily. It's sad a lot of kids don't have the privilege of learning music and worse endure hunger in many parts of the world. Kids who have the opportunity to learn music at a young age should treasure this gift as they will grow up to be disciplined and well mannered human beings. I always love watching the mannerism of such kids as they tend to come from good families since music lessons and the effort put into ferrying them to and fro lessons (aka car) are not financial commitments normal working parents can afford.
Given the setting and the gradual entries this became an outstanding performance by these young people. Well done the music master and the school as well as the youngsters.
These are exceptional kids, not just kids. Beautiful! I love Taiwan, was there in the 70's. Beautiful country, beautiful people. Hate to see them be swallowed up by China (communist). My heart is still with Kuo Chin Che.
Wonderful, just wonderful and so young. What dedication; this is great piece of music that I’ve heard many times and this has to rate among the best I’ve heard. Congratulations and well done!!!
Absolutely outstanding, this is the best version that I have ever heard .The talent of these young people is amazing and a credit to their parents and teachers ♥️ BRAVO
CONGRATULATIONS. How well they play! I have been excited! It is wonderful that children learn and like classical music! 😊😊😊❤❤❤ It is an incomparable good! Hugs very affectionate to all!
The power of the maestro! They were looking to be pretty bad when they started, off-key and tempo. The Maestro showed up! Watch his fack, he heard it also and threw his bag down and took over! Awesome!
Pachelbel would be so so happy to hear his music is still going hundreds of years after he left this planet. This is not an easy piece to play but they NAILED it
I have heard many versions of this song and this by far, hands down is the absolute best. It’s even better that it’s a bunch of children playing it!! Simply beautiful!!
Well done by young talented musicians. However, this Canon was not composed for orchestra, so a lot of the emotion it usually evokes is sadly missing. It is best performed solo on piano, violin or even acoustic guitar. I have a young friend, age 14, who plays this on piano flawlessly and, of course, with no sheet music. A good musician does not need sheet music when performing publicly - nor a conductor!
Watched it again and again ,and my love goes out to each and every one of them. They played this beautiful piece of music sooooo well, THANK YOU 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤
With this sort of BEAUTY in the World.. It makes me weep with shame that our world is so full of HATE and VIOLENCE... Bless these children that their example of putting Love and Beauty back into this world, Becomes a trend to restore us all and redeem the majesty this world holds.
Quelle performance !
What I most like besides their perfect playing is the audience that doesn't disturb them, by the contrary paying total attention while listening. In my country there are people that really enjoy these practises, but not all, some of them even disappreciate and have other misconceptions.
I am shocked. How could something like this remain hidden for 4 years? A masterpiece! One of the best videos worldwide. I have never seen anything like this in my holy life.
Wonderful rendition by these talented kids. Thanks for sharing this music. Real music such as this lives for centuries unlike the here one day and gone the next day of so called music of today.
I saw two things. Great kids playing their heart out in public. Their impact for future musicians happened at that moment. That call to music was as important as the piece itself. Well done!

Renaissance music consisted of smooth regular flow of rhythm while baroque music was comprised of a metrical rhythm with varied motion.
It was in the Baroque era - roughly 1600-1750 - that the notion of the orchestra really came into its own, and composers started to layer instruments up in complex polyphony - different musical parts - and harmony. 3:23 [Classic FM]
When and where Pachelbel's Canon originated, and why exactly he composed it, is largely a mystery to music historians. [The New York Times]
The film 'Ordinary People' in 1980 brought Pachelbel's Canon to a mass audience. 0:13
