Erica needs to listen to Ziheng's perspective. Ziheng has a very analytical mind. When he says "it is too deep", he means the area is too far away from where there's a lot of foot traffic where there is likely more customers. I am glad Ziheng also knows how "foreigners" are often taken advantage of simply because they are perceived as having more money, may not know their way around the foreign culture, etc. Using emotions to make business decisions almost always ends up in disaster. One has to think, and even be calculating. I wish both of them success in business and happiness in their togetherness.

In as much as Erica is eager to open her shop, he should listen to Zihenge because if you want to open shop especially saloon, you must consider were there's human traffic especially pedestrians, the shop should be easily accessible to people without them incurring extra cost on transport before making their hair. You're just a beginner in the business and the area is secluded.

He's absolutely right. A new start up business needs a good location with a high 'foot drop';people passing by, and a place easy to travel to. Otherwise, the business will starve, you will end up wasting your money/investment, and that's when personal relationships tend to end on very bad terms.

You also have to remember that for the first few years income made has to be ploughed back into business for improvements. If foot traffic is low then it will be hard to grow business.
