STL flattening example. Rhinoceros + Mesh2Surface

Procedure
1 - Non-contact 3D scanning
2 - STL conversion into a CAD model (Rhinoceros plus Mesh2Surface)
3 - Flattening
4 - Saving the the data as Illustrator (EPS), DXF etc

The flattening result is not symmetrical and it is distorted.

I have tried Exactflat, it is not a solution for symmetrical results. I suggest you cut your surface exactly in the middle before using the Squish command, then duplicate, mirror and join these 2 surfaces.
