i'll spend sometime later to translate... he's telling a story about a friend asking him about the meaning of the end words used in cantonese, and he's like idk. haven't really thought about that b4... then he comes back later and tells the friend, oh, so i've put some thought into this matter and i've realized these ending sounds represents our emotions at that very moment after saying the sentence.... and the friend's like ok, how about you translate this lincoln letter about slavery to me in cantonese using those end words, and he goes on ... translating, and its hilarious cus he's exaggerating the end words and some tones are fked up... but anyway, the story ends with the friend saying ok ok ok , i've had enough of these complicated end words, canto is so hard... i'ma go learn 'french....lo' notice the friend said it with an end word... so its ironic

我系深圳嘅。我祖籍佛山，个仔家阵五岁，我都系坚持要求佢係屋企讲广东话，帮佢正音。虽然每个字小朋友而家都重讲得好正，无畀普通话影响到。但系我近排发现先生您讲嘅语尾词，小朋友已经接近无晒了，而且有啲格硬套用普通话嘅倾向，我想一个个纠正返佢，但系解释个“啵”，都抓晒头了。多谢先生赐教。我又可以慢慢体系咁教畀个仔了。

其实我们大马不论中文，马来文，英文或其他语言发音，都习惯性会有尾音。我们觉得多了个尾音更能表达真正的意思。你若叫我不说，还真不习惯呢，哈哈。
是的，我讀大學時有著很多星馬的同學，他們很喜歡加上 ‘啦’ 尾字，連洋人都覺得有趣。

請你用你平常的講話心態讀出這封信，看能省掉多少句尾字？相信不多。
其實有啲都唔係好通"添"....唔信你試下正常速度講一次，錄返段片大家研究"下"，再唔係可以變返文字版，再研究下有咩嘢可以加加減減....小弟係香港大，所以對衣啲尾字都有一定認識~
不妨賜教！我不知道你的 “正常速度”，請你為大家作示範，讓我們更明瞭你的意思。
但學講廣東話唔一定要學這些助語尾詞
學習語言可以有著很多層次，任何層次在某些環境上都可以是很足夠。
要讲普通话，写规范字。这样学中国和中国文化会容易。 机会也多。
但容易學到的只是近代的中國和近代的中國文化而矣。
