      Mandatory learning destroys the love of learning. If you want someone to learn something, you'd be wise to use a passionate and kind invitation. Your results will be far better than forced schooling.

      @@LoshenTingaling Cold plunging can provide mental challenges and some health benefits like improved circulation and reduced inflammation, but it's not a significant factor for muscle growth. In fact, it might even blunt muscle hypertrophy if done immediately after strength training. As for testosterone, cold exposure doesn't meaningfully boost levels, and there are no natural supplements that dramatically increase testosterone. If you're healthy, your testosterone levels should already be within a good range.

      @shadowrealm8937 Yes and it covers things that noone else mentions. When it comes to content creation it's hard to monetise the truth. It's hard to get you to click and watch. Most guys are looking to get fast results with no effort. Example tongkat ali and other supplements that will increase your testosterone. Truth is that this wasnt easy, it was hard work, there are many things to consider. If you are prepared do make the effort the results are there to be had. Looking for quick results will only hold you back

      @@shadowrealm8937 I have never used it. But it has reported benefits. Thing to consider is that there is no one supplement that will increase your testosterone levels indefinitely. Some supplements help with preventing nutrient deficiencies. But many testosterone boosting supplements is that tolerance is built up quickly with all these it's best to cycle or to just use now and then for a quick boost

    I don’t see how getting into a cold shower after working out reduces muscle rebuilding. I don’t think that’s right.

    • @all-s0rts
      @all-s0rts 2 года назад +2

      I would think that it would help improve muscle building considering everything contracts to protect your organs from the cold then releases when you are warming up. It's still time under tension. Blood flow and Cardiac output are the same. A Pump is a pump.

    • @jreplanet
      @jreplanet  2 года назад +3

      @reece georgens unfortunately my knowledge in this subject is very limited so I cannot add anything ;< I guess we would have to do some research in this area to find out why some people claim that :p

    • @ozziew007
      @ozziew007 2 года назад +28

      After you train hard, your body ‘fills’ your muscles with blood (blood flow is increased to that area) which is partly why they feel so tight and pumped. Your body is giving them all sorts of nutrients, oxygen and all the other good stuff in your blood to help them repair.
      Cold water causes vasoconstriction which makes the blood vessels much thinner and greatly reduces blood flow in that area (which is why they always recommend a cold pack to reduce inflammation/swelling on a wound) but this would mean you are restricting your muscle from getting all of the good stuff it wants, when it needs it most (right after a workout).
      Hope this helps to explain it. Don’t take a cold shower after a workout. It won’t completely kill your gains or anything but it definitely doesn’t help

      One reason cold showers afterward can limit your gains...is that frequent cold exposure speeds up your metabolism naturally because your body has to work harder to maintain its' core temp. You'll burn calories much faster, which will leave your muscles starving. It was crazy when I first started doing cold showers every day, I dropped 20 lbs over about 6 months without changing anything else in my dietary habits, it got to a point where I had to take a break because i don't have a lot of body fat to spare.
