Yes, you can tell a lot from the scope waveform, such as injector pintle lifting from it's seat (actual opening), current draw, pulse-width and max current draw. It is by far the best way to analyze an injector's complete health. This will become even more important with the new GDI engines hitting the market now from all the auto makers. Thanks for posting.
The P0758 is a transmission code. Yes, a vacuum leak can do the other codes. Get a hose, stick it in your ear (clean hose) and slowly browse at the engine intake and related hoses. Listen for a high pitch hiss. Good luck.
@fiverrgigler Ok, the ECM triggers the injector by providing a ground. Your next step is to check the injector wire (pulsed) for continuity to the ECM connector. Search the web for a wiring diagram. Remember, check the wire opposite to the 12 volt steady power. ID the wire and go for the check. Post back afterwards...
If injector 4 does not open, the CAM sensor won't do much. Cylinder 4 injector is triggered by ECM. DO the following: Key On Engine OFF then disconnect your #4 injector. One side is 12volts the other is the trigger from the ECM. Disconnect ECM, using wiring diagram find #4 trigger wire and ground it to chassis (ECM disconnected). Use DMM continuity setting and probe for ground at #4 trigger wire. Post back with findings...Good luck.
@fiverrgigler On the inoperative injector, with Key On Engine Off disconnect and check for power at one side of the injector (any side). One side has to have steady power. If it's a Dodge that it's different then post back. The other side has to pulse a ground when engine cranked. You may use a NOID light to check for pulsation. Post back after you check these points. Good luck...
@doobryfingy Hi doobryfingy, thank you for posting. Well not really, but we do listen to you folks and always try to make our videos better. We're also a full automotive help service right here on this YT channel. If ever any car issues, let us know and it's free. Keep posting.
@Semmy4tube Thank you... All we ask in return is that you keep posting and participate. I also encourage you to watch our new series, "Stories from the Road" right here in this channel. Let me know what you think. Good luck to you...
I am very thankful and appreciate that Your video training is becoming more interesting and helping me with a lot off information that i am lack off on automotive vehicle. Thanks .PNG
@fiverrgigler OK, this is what you can do: Just swap the injector connector of the faulty one with the one next to it. It's fine the injectors will pulse out of synch, but the fuel stays in the manifold runner. If its the injector then the same inj. will continue to fail. If it's wiring or the ECM then the new injector (swaped one) will also start to fail. Post back with more.
Just flush it. Some places remove the side and stick a metal flat rod through the conduits. Metal rod like an oil stick. Then the side is reassembled either welded or plastic-clamped and if the radiator metal is still good then you set. If replacing radiator don't just go from aluminum to copper. It won't work.
Muchas gracias por enseñar. He visto todos sus vídeos, pero hace falta el video del sistema de limpiabrisas Le agradeceria mucho si lo puede hacer. GRACIAS
Can u help me with this I have problem with injector 4 in my Hyundai accent they have power but they not grating signal and the injector don't open I change the cam sensor and the injector
hey man, what exactly drive injectors to inject fuel at the right time,i saw in one animation injectors work under pressure but i think that is imposible..my enlish is not perfect so explain to me here
Hi im having trouble starting an engine, perkins 1106, the engine turns over as quick as normal, batt voltage is 12.92, fuel system has fuel to the pump, engine turns over and over but never fires? no smoke from the exhaust give it a sniff of ether and it fires and then runs fine. please help
I am having the same trouble with the same engine in a massey ferguson tractor. Starts first time in morning but will not restart after being stopped for a short period of time. Give it an hour and it starts again. Had the dealer put their computer on it everything tests ok. strange

This is awsomely displayed , Easy to understand. All thumbs up for ADP Automotive Diagnostics and Publishing here.

My pleasure, we hope you keep participating to keep us making more videos. Thanks again.
Yes, but just hold the hose lightly close to your ear. There's no need to stick the hose to any port, vacuum or otherwise... Thanks for posting.

That computer voice is terrible
WHat do you mean "triggers two injectors"? THanks for posting.

Cool to see how the oscilloscopes can show the proper function of a injector.
It's in this same channels... Thanks for the post.
This channel is devoted to automotive engines. Although your Perkins is similar, there are controller issues that differ from a car. Sorry.
Hey Scotty how do you flushed a radiator when it's all rusty? I would love your feed back sir Thanks for all your help...!!
Muchas gracias por enseñar. He visto todos sus vídeos, pero hace falta el video del sistema de limpiabrisas Le agradeceria mucho si lo puede hacer. GRACIAS
Thanks for all of the great information!
Take a look at our newer series "Stories from the Road". THey're easier to understand.
It's cool to see how a fuel injector works
Yes, it is possible...
ties in well with the class

Hello I have codes p0204, p0304, p0758 . Car runs as if it has vacuum leak? advice, vehicle is 2002 galant 2.4
They use oscilloscopes to diagnose fuel injectors now? Dang the utility of those never ends.
Thanks for the video..very helpful
don't stick it onto a vacuum port while the other end is in your ear, may be painful ;)

How old is the tractor Chris?
Hey I got problems with injector #4p0204 I change the injector cam sensor and I still have the problem
good explanation of how it works
PINTOL wow !! BTW great movie thanks!
helpful video. i like the explanation of how an open will throw a code. very useful.
Thanks
Maybe he has it confused with waste spark ignition coils.
Good explanation
Thank you for sharing...
Thank you Stephen Hawking !!!
supper show in injectors
Cool
was this a robot that spoke
good video!!
Zoom Zoom Zoom!
That electronic voice is annoying
I DONT understand jjejejej
i dont understand because this in english
supper show in injectors
