The 1960s-70s were into flower power, these kids are Hamas wannabees.
Good point
Not everybody who opposes Israel's behaviour is an Hamas wannabee. Some people just want international and domestic law, and 28 UN resolutions respected by the rogue state of Israel.
So true.
The illegal occupation of Palestine is the problem
Bullshit artist
Stop blaming Israel for the virulent antisemitism we’re seeing. The issue is not that Israel has failed to “explain” what it’s doing. Jew hatred is the oldest hatred in the world and those who choose to wallow in it will find any reason to excuse their behavior. In every generation Jews have been hated for different reasons, the reason is not important.
Nevertheless, Jews will continue to succeed and we will “possess the gates of our enemies”. Am Israel Chai! 🇮🇱❤️
My thoughts exactly.

Anti-Zionism😁 was very big in German universities during the 1930s. The young are always the most "radical", tribal and vicious. Think of Hitler Youth, Mao's Red Guards, and Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge - average age around 19/20. In the case of Hitler Youth, the age was even younger.
those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it
@@tommyrotton9468 and history is being rerwritten as we speak .
I recommend anything written by the historian Wolfgang Kraushaar about the Red Army Fraction: He persistently (and convincingly) makes the link between Nazi students in the 1930s and the 1968ers - in their general radicalism and their antisemitism. One of the first targets attacked by radical left-wing German students in the 1960s, even before Baader-Meinhof, was a Jewish old peoples' home in Munich.
They would have been shut down by the government, which was favourable to the Z cause.
This new crop have been influenced by Muslim agitators who are nursed with the milk of Jew hatred, an prominent part of Islamic teachings. They are so confident in their faith and that Jews are evil, that their certainty influences the weak minds of kids, many of whom have no moral or religious upbringing.
"A safe space for hate". Perfect!
They don't hate.. They are "racesist fluent".
Deeply disturbing that a generation of parents have worked hard and spent money to send their kids to universities to be radicalised in hate🙏
Ilhan made sure to raise her daughter that way. Campus did NOT radical the daughter.
More disturbing is how poor their parenting has been. No decent parent has a child involved in this.

He is far from being the only one. The Iranian regime regularly executes an tortures its own civilians.
We are witnessing the culmination, and triumphant success, of the 'long march' through our institutions by left wing ideologues. Added to which has been the complete failure of our political, establishment, and media class to both recognise and confront what is an obvious threat. The fact is that all these groups, with their various and often conflicting issues, have joined together in an unholy alliance, united by one common thread, a hatred of western society and values. Now we are being confronted by the result of our own stupidity and weakness. The question is whether we have any stomach left for the fight.
Western society and values are garbage. Greed, greed, greed. Religious and moral hypocrisy. And the theft, rape and murder that was imperialism. Its staggering how Westerners are so easily brainwashed into thinking all that is somehow wonderful.
And, at least in the short time, an intersection with a death cult from the 7th century.
The illegal occupation of Palestine is the problem
I believe we don't. Democracies are doomed.

Protest is leftist church - James Lindsay
doing nothing while jews exercise power against your interests is a conservative hovel.
Oh, the guy who voted for Trump in 2020? Anyone that thinks that the Far Left is more dangerous than the Far Right is clearly a victim of pro-rich propaganda.
Would you want protest if your rights were nullified?
Or would that also be some leftist pleasure parade. Honestly.
There’s a reason why they say the right suffers the foolery of demagogues
Disallowing students to enjoy what their tuition pays for isn't a protest, it is an occupation.
yeah, I'm sure that's what you're concerned with. Nothing to do with defending jews and their genocidal interests.
Imagine egging these kids on for a decade then being all shocked when they come for you.

The illegal occupation of Palestine is the problem
Two points:
1. Although it may have been impossible domestically to do so, Israel nevertheless seriously missed a trick by not delaying their response to October 7th to give time for the barbarism of that attack to be the sole narrative, and for that to sink in globally.
2. When I was a lad, it was pretty much a commonplace that the west, and particularly the USA, were the baddy warmongers, and the USSR were the good guys. Sting and Billy Bragg both wrote songs describing how the deaths of 25m meant that It would be insane to expect anything other than the deepest pacifism from them - songs Putin does not appear to have heard, as it transpires. it didn't occur to us to consider the testimonies of Poles, Balts, Hungarians, East Germans et al as to what the actual nature of the beast was. The young will always turn round and want to bite the hand of their own culture, it is just part of growing up. The worrying difference today is that our institutions are now also part of the hand-biting frenzy.
regarding your first point Israel waited 6 days before really responding, those midwits have been showing off celebrating for 6 days and now it's like nothing happened nevetheless
What is it with these people and their fixation on Poland and the demand the jews were supposed to go *back* to Poland? I can only hope that it's not because of the fact that Auschwitz was in Polland?? I'm so disgusted by all of this. And not because I'm German and have some sort of "obscene" sense of guilt because of the holocaust - sadly, many Germans just can't seem to be able to forgive the jews auschwitz and are just as anti-Israel as the rest of the (western) world.
Unfortunately your hope is misplaced: Auschwitz being in Poland is exactly why they tell the Jews to go back there. Conveniently it also plays into the false narrative that the Jews who returned to their ancestral homeland are not indigenous to Judea but rather originated in Europe.
@@MissMU-xi3kh I'm afraid you are right.
I think the understanding is that all the Jews who came to Israel were from Poland. This is to reinforce the Arab narrative that the Jews are outside colonizers, so they point to Poland as being far away. What they fail to realize is that there were over a million Jews who came to Israel because they were expelled from the Arab world. Could you imagine if Israel simply expelled all the “Palestinians “? Funny thing is that no one would take them and they did in fact come from Jordan, Egypt, etc.
I would rather let people with horrible ideas and beliefs protest so I can see who they truly are. However, I draw the line at protest turning into physical harm of others. If the just stood there chanting and peacefully protesting - no problem. But these people were holding hands, forming human blockades to keep Jewish students from going to class. They have chased Jewish students to where they had to run to rooms and were locked inside while the mob outside screamed and banged on doors and walls outside. There are individuals proudly claiming "I am Hamas". Hamas is on the terrorist list and therefore is you are a terrorist, you should be treated as one.
When you look at pro-Israel protests, nobody is being physically threatened. Nobody is yelling $ill the Arabs. If anti-Israel protesters behaved equally peacefully - then let them so we can all see their beliefs.
Plus these same universities enforce stricter codes of conduct on other students for much lighter offenses
@@sjohnson2884 I agree. They allow certain students to get away with outrageous actions while punishing other students for minor offenses. If anyone said even a 10th of what the protesters are saying about any other minority, they would be violently shut down by students and the university.
apposing genocide is so horrible.
If free speech as a right were absolute, it would be at any time and any place. The blockades step on the right of students to attend class. If you have a jackass with a microphone, one person can decide that students shouldn't hear a particular speaker - again something they have a right to do. You've seen protests in the past where students colonize administration offices. If you accept that, then you'd need to accept that a secretary would be expected to work if some dumbass was literally standing on their desk. You've seen protests where students surround a dean's car. I think there was one leftist political protester a few years back who followed someone they were protesting into a public toilet. The point of these protests is that a tiny amount of people can make an environment unpredictable enough that the adults have to cede ground in the name of safety.
I'd assume that the university might be legally liable. With explicitly peaceful events, there's often a need to hire security guards to maintain safety. So when students are behaving like nutjobs, the university is at increased risk. And that might well be quantifiable in terms of lost money, lost tuition, clean up, or needing an increased campus security presence. And if a protester trips over and breaks a leg, the university probably has to swallow the blame in terms of PR or legal liability. Absent consequences, they can run amok and someone else wears the costs.
Telling the students they can hold a rally for 2 hours in a public venue allows them to be heard. Intimidation is something else.
@@anathema2me4EVRterrorizing people thousands of miles away who have nothing to do with Israel other than being Jewish is indefensible. However, the self righteous and immoral find away to justify any savagery
It's scary what is happening to the west. We shed blood and sacrificed our empire to stop this last time :(
Which empire?
If it hadn't been for the British and French being so out of line with the Treaty of Versailles, there would have been no ultra-Nationalism induced in Germany, no WWII and no Holocaust. We lost our empire because we were so self-serving. We treated Germany disgracefully. But then, we did that with the empire and its conquered people anyway. I get really sick of the sanitised version of British history that most Brits seem to believe is the full truth.
Ask yourself... why does no one mention the fact Hamas could stop this conflict right now, if they wanted to.
Unfortunately for the people under their dictates... they and the Iranian regime both want it to continue.
They see nothing to be gained from stopping it. No one mentions this... because they don't want to hear it.
How to solve this
Step 1 The UN states that the state of israel is no longer recognised and the Israelis can move to an empty area of the USA
Step 2 the state of Palestine is recognised and the west is told to remove itself from the gulf states
Step 3 We move all the far left to the newly formed state of Palestine
Israelis get a state in a safe area
Palestinians get their own country
the far left get to move to Palestine where they will enjoy a glorious marxist socialist trans gender paradise
What could possibly go wrong?
I believe they're in love with their microphoneholders.
It is comical to see the monsters they created turn on them
The guy in the middle was very irritating. Major problem is that universities have become simple businesses, expensive temporary holiday camps, holding pens, selling degree paper, for the thick and lazy, who swamp those who are actually there for education - and extensive employment of less than mediocre lecturers to deal with the numbers.
The general ignorance of the bulk of Americans has always been shocking.
Yet now the UK's general ignorance is being shown up by the rise of the Far Right Reform UK Party.
It's hard to not notice the stark difference between the current Armenian genocide where population numbers are actually going down every year as opposed to palestinian seemingly exponential population growth where their numbers are going up every year. There will probably be more of them by the end of this then it was before it started if it lasts 9 months
Facts are irrelevant to the useful idiots at these protests.

It's news', not newses; you're not nine!
Free speech is a right, but if you view that as any time, any place, and absent consequence, then a solitary lunatic could enter a university admin building with a loud speaker and yell for a day. If 100 office staff lost the entire workday, then a single student might be able to cost the university tens of thousands of dollars in lost productivity - where delays and complications might flow to thousands of other students. The point of asymmetric tactics is you can screw things up with minimal effort. A single protester could block a train line and send an entire city into chaos. If you don't cave to their demands, they have a buddy who will do the same thing tomorrow.
Zzzz.... more right versus left nonsense. Justice is a universal guys~

I think you're completely misinterpreting the supposed 'failure' of the Israeli government to 'win the information war'. I'm sure it's at least partly a deliberate strategy. These sorts of protests in the US and Europe, and general hostility towards Israel across the world, actually *benefit* the ruling party in Israel. The more Israelis feel vulnerable and hated, the more likely they are to vote for Netanyahu or allied parties who promise strength and protection. Prosecuting the war against Hamas in as heavy-handed a manner as possible is to Likud's advantage.
