They're definitely the first generation clutchfit. The skeleton foot sole, the external heel counter, the mini "hour glass" design on the back and as it gets to the forefoot, they become leather.
They're not really technologies, it's just name for their material that pretty much every sportswear brand has. Some are more complex than others, but stuff like Adidas Climecool and Nike Dri-Fit, don't really specify all that much about what the product is actually made out of.

That's a mistake on Adidas' part. I have the current Nemeziz colorway and the box is labelled as 17, not 18. Same thing goes for the X.
