Wow wow wow, I take my hat off. Such an indept surgical analysis of this critical and complex situation. Give that man a BELLS
South Africa deserve to know the truth about JZ ❤👌
South Africans deserves service delivery.
We now understand why the SABC does not call this man Mighty J for analysis.
Jamie really opened up my eyes to the trap that the constitutional court put itself into. Thank you gentlemen. Wonderful episode as always.
Great minds put together🎉Thanks Jammie and Sizwe. I really enjoyed your analysis🎉🎉
Very impressed with such explanatory, thought provoking and educational analysis
Dr Mpofu and Jamie I was thinking about this ConCourt case regarding President Zuma. If they judges agree that the sentence given to President Zuma was unconstitutional, would that mean they have to account for 300+ people that died because of the judgment they issued to Zuma without a trial?
That my friend is the basis on which we should put that Zondo guy behind bars. He was real instigator of the July uprising and should account.
They have been bought, can't risk crossing Ramaphosa
Do not say Zindo guy ,is Chief justice of the country
@@mgodoyikzn That Zondo guy is a clown. He deserves No respect. He's a politician, not a judge.
You make an interesting comment nkokheli. There is an interesting other side of the coin that may protect the judges behind same judgment.
You will recall that there was a finding that there is no link between the arrest of Former President Zuma and the unrest.
To bring sanctions against the CC judges may require a review of the findings that say there was no link between the unrest and the arrest Former President Zuma.
Again I'm not a legal person hense I could very well be interpreting these complex issues correctly.
The closing arguments in this potcast are the reason I dont pay or watch tv. Welldone doctor Mpofu. This was a good conversation and thought provoking
This very good especially highlighting the things that they are not talked about, this is quite an informed analysis

Yhoo thank you Sir for opening .our eyes .
Spot on again guys - Judges, lawyers, political analysts, journalists are human beings also, they are as biased as we all are. Zuma is right to fight for his rights. Zondo and Madonsela are against Zuma through and through.
Thanks Jamie for hilighting the Main Stream media and the Journalist who ended up sounds like Jugdes and everything and not allowing the other side of the story ❤
Great conversation Mr Mighti and Dr Phofu big up fruitful information and analysis around South African Law, all eyes on the Constitutional Court of South Africa.
Very clear and objective analysis that approaches arguments from different angles.

Fire to this show.
Sizwe Sizwe! You are a
Star, the Right tool for the Right Job....Excellent Interview ❤❤❤
Claps, claps, claps and claps big up to Mighty Jamie and thank you for honest obvious truth I thought I was loosing my mind really, I always wondered why there is no different perspective in the South African Media space, to tell the truth I thought certain Judges and Courts in this country work together with certain Media companies and all the analists are just payed mouth pieces. Thank you for taking time to think Mighty Jamie and having respect for the South African Public, your views are refreshing.
Absolutely 💯 true!!!
Stimulating conversation, well done 👏 gentlemen. In times past, judges were little demi gods whose judgements were not to be questioned. Zuma's long-standing love affair with the courts has shone the light firmly into the judiciary.
The more these judgements are scrutinised, the more we are led to question the integrity of the judiciary as a whole
Don’t forget to subscribe so that SMWX can keep having these dope conversations.
💯
So refreshing to have a political master class in a conversational way. Bravo gents. Headbowed
These are excellent analysis between two brilliant citizens and it is in the best interest of the patriots for this episode to be televised on SABC..
But what about Naspers boss Koos Bekker who gave judge Zondo a middle finger by not coming to his commission and nothing was done about him even today
Ramaphosa paid ConCourt, & he is trying all he can to buy his was past 50+1% , but will fail.
IEC doing the best to suppress MK.
My take is that the Zondo Commission was setup by Thuli Madonsela on the findings that Jacob Zuma was at the heart of the so-called State capture. Of course, the Commission could have subpoenaed Koos Bekker, thus charging him with "contempt of court" should he still refused to come before it to give evidence. But Jacob Zuma, given that by law he needed to answer to the charges laid against him as an "accused," he simply does not have the same luxury as the one who was to appear to give evidence. But of course, you and I can debate whether the apex court should be used as a court of first instance. There, I can't fault you.
Naspers CEO didn't take the oath of office and fiduciary duties are not the same. The CEO of Naspers is a private citizen but the former president JZ took the Oath of office to abide to the laws and constitution of the country. What he was requested to do it was to testify for what is alleged has happened during his office as the former president of South Africa.
@@mohaleshai5139 He was no longer a President. Anyway, section 5 requires a forum where appeal is possible.
The APEX Court is Court of first instance on pure Constitutional matters. The drafters of the Constitution could not have foreseen that criminal Mafias Ramaphosa/ Zondo would use their power to put a contempt matter direct to ConCourt
PW Botha refused to go to Truth & Reconciliation & Tutu refered him to magistrate Court for a more serious Contempt.
That urgency was FAKE, report was more than a year latter & is rotting in Ramaphosa, he can't uses, point largely to ANC, though Zondo didn't even follow the TOR, he confirmed it to anything that will make Zuma bad. He never pursued Gencor evergreen contracts
Sometimes 'anti- capital rhetoric' is an unfair barometer to assess if a person should be mainstreamed by media, the fact that jamie is so peripherally platformed because his political analysis is uncertified by the directors of the official narrative, negatively depicts our nation's attitude towards the project of harnessing productive intellectuals.
Mighty has grown. I enjoy his analysis Ayeye
Wonderful Analysis
This analysis is very sober, akange nisele iphatyutyu nje ngeMainstream media in this country.
I've learn a lots from this conversation, good analysis
Well said thank you brother might your points are helping many people who are familiar problem
Solid conversation, indeed every democratic institution must be scrutinized
Gentlemen, ndinothulela umnqwazi. Great analysis.
Good work, team ayeye, you in South africa now there is Zuma law nothing else. Allegedly, I see the justice system is so biased to certain individuals and hatred that no equal accept dirty politics. But one day, someone will tell us the truth why certain individuals hated like that 🙃 but I see state failure of current government.
Gentle man, keep up the good work you are the best.
Young minds. Brilliant conversation. Sizwe n guest do you think everyone has a price?
Perfect analysis
I salute you Mr Jamie. You are honest and brialiant brain. Whatever you discussing is so true.
Thanks for the truth
The story of Mandla Mandlela compared with the JZ case. No justice for JZ. Truly, the same judges wants to issue unjust judgement again on Friday.
Thank you gentlemen. You are doing a stunning mind job
A mind-boggling interview. Classical analyst needed in this era of turbulence and disruption leading to elections. Is the so called bench assigned for this case listening to what is at stake here? Because according to society , the jury is out on how they will navigate this case based on Jamie's intellectually charged point of view. That's the litmus test. Sizwe thank u for immersing us into Jamie's thinking process. Absolute brilliance!
Mighty J. Much respect my brother. Good analysis 😊😊
If the article about Zuma's was approved, Can it be Cited as evidence during the trail?
Real Lecture🎊🎈🥇
Nice interview qha Dr Mpofu usibukelisa amaChina!
Ayeye thank you guys ❤
This was a great conversation amongst very few.
Arg man,you two men and this platform nje ❤😭
Beautiful seating indeed, beautiful!
Good analysis
What a brilliant mind and this dude is and mind-opening analysis.
What a brilliant show and review of the Legal spectrum of South Africa.... What tops this for me is the identification that main stream media is feeding the public a one sided view. WoW, I'm listening to this one again.
Salute gentle
Ayeye💯🔥🔥🔥
you just gave the word unbiased a new definition 👌
Mr Jamie is very clear with law and we shall watch and see how the concourt can clean their mess
Free and fair discussion, balanced. Refreshing.
Lord intervene in this matter
Great Analysis
I appreciate you my brother you are really analyst
Jamie is a well reasoned guy. That thinking pattern on the urgency Zondo created was spot on
Thank you for this very thought provoking discussion. To me the long and short of it rests to a greater extent on how the concepts power and people are defined especially by our leaders. Unfortunately and especially our crop of elderly African leaders have always taken power more at personal level rather than using rationality. The more personal one looks at a thing the more one invites emotions and one finds themselves taking decisions to fix someone.
I need to sign up to the membership
🔥🔥🔥
Removing President Zuma on Ballot 2021 July was small , expect big roites and no voting in South Africa until he is restored.
Great analysis, Thanks sizwe
Con court should let Zuma win... To avoid unnecessary havoc for our beloved country... God of our ancestors bless South Africa...
Yes he will be on the list
Let's not forget that Pres Zuma walked out of the commission and went to court for an appeal. Why was that ignored....
I really appreciate the analysis on this and Jamie makes a lot of sense.
On the point of Zuma protesting the Con Court and ending up in jail. Judges are people and they will make mistakes. That's why you have more that one judge at these higher courts, the legal system is not perfect and will never be perfect. Zuma choosing to protest and not make presentations before the court disadvantaged himself. The reason we always have 2 sides making arguments before judges is to help the courts to come to a better decision. That's why you even have things like Friends of the Court, the aim is to make arguments and put all relevant information and scenarios before the judges so that they come to decisions that are thoroughly examined and thought out. Many of the arguments that Jamie is making should have been ventilated before the Con Court by Zuma and his lawyer to help the Con Court to come to a more informed decision.
Even on the issue of the sentence that Jamie was arguing, the Con Court again invited Zuma to mitigate for himself and he once again declined that chance to help the court and help himself in the process. Instead, He and Mpofu only chose to go to the Court only when he was faced with the reality of jail.
Personally, I just don't think Zuma has the best interests of this country at heart. He is a very wise and strategic man but unfortunately for us as a country, he uses all that to serve himself. Even if he wanted to protest what was happening, he could have simply done what Dudu Myeni did. instead, he chose the most destructive way to protest and let the whole country burn.
Let's also remember that one of the reasons that Zondo wanted to end the commission was because of the escalating costs. People are now forgetting how everyone was on Zondo's case about the escalating costs. The man was under a lot of pressure from the same people that are now asking why did he go straight to the Con Court and not the High Court.
You nailed it my brother
Remission of sentence doesn't reduce a sentence but reduces jail time. The courts imposed 15 months, remission came from the President so the reduction of the sentence had to have been given by the court and above that, every case is expunged or a criminal record clears after 5 years, so Zuma's case may have been 15 months or even 3 as in this instance but the expungement is 5. Criminal record & fingerprints cleared of all crime or exclusion.
Agree with you Gentleman, but Ramaphosa has bought these judges.
How will MK be affected if Zuma is not going to Parly, as even if he wins, he still not be in Parly.
He will be more effective as party Leader.
I’m glad I watch this because he pointed s as me point that I’ve been ff I’ve been following the case of R Kelly n he the gorn is corrup I’ve also ff the Trump case I’ve been ff ff the Zuma n ANC n it make me thing how much can they can pay God because he is priceless
Your guest is good, I mean very good...Can he be my lawyer?
The supreme court Judges must today give a judgment that will benefit the people not a few
Most of our scholars in Mzansi are bias and silent dissent voice look at Mbeki he hv a history of not liking a dissent voices like Chris Hani, Mama Winnie and Jacob Zuma
Thank you thats y i dont watch the news at all!!!!
