The Affordable Standpipe Prop is a realistic training prop that allows you to conduct real world training in your classroom and flow water in your parking lot.
Crafted with efficiency and affordability in mind, the Affordable Standpipe Prop is designed to meet the needs of Engine Company Training.
We took the fire suppression system of a 7-story building, compressed it into 4.5', and mounted it horizontally on our proprietary cart.
For durability, the manifold is constructed of 4”, schedule 40, galvanized pipe with seven 2.5” outlets.
Enjoy effortless maneuverability from 4-heavy duty casters, two that are fixed, and two that swivel with a double locking brakes makes wheeling this prop a breeze; yet, the locking casters prevent movement when flowing water.
The entire unit is sandblasted, an epoxy powder coat finish his applied, followed by a red top powder finish.
2-reinforced shelves allow for transport and storage of fire hose, appliances, and tools.
The basic model includes a 2.5" Siamese fire department connection, six 2.5" angle hose valves, a system pressure gauge, and a sprinkler head with a control valve and water motor gong. The 7th outlet comes capped.
The Affordable Standpipe Prop is available with your choice of fire ground adjustable pressure reducing valves from Elkhart Brass; Zurn; and Giacomini.
You can also add the Dixon PRD, a screw-on, adjustable pressure restricting device ("PRD"); a 7th standard hose valve, an additional sprinkler head, Speed Swivels, or a Fast Wrench (or two).
We pressure test the Affordable Standpipe Prop to 300 PSI so that you can pump realistic fire ground pressures.
