Dimash is clearly the best vocalist I have ever heard in my 54 years and that's a lot, and I propose nobody can find another in known history. He is almost perfect on his presentations, I can't say perfect because he continues to better his only competition, himself, as his voice approaches maturity which for men are late 20s early thirties. After listening to him so long, most other music, especially current music sounds like garbage. I hope his talent will raise the bar but likely he will be chalked up as an anomaly. Regardless, he will make history and in future years music professors will speak of him like Bach, Mozart, etc. I am glad he came in my lifetime. The person, the performance, the vocal master wrapped up in this humble and generous individual. Almost too good to be true.

This guy is a technical monster. Has got range of C2 - D8 spanning over 6 octaves. Mix is perfect, he switches between head , chest and falsetto effortlessly.

At first I thought ...well his tessitura is just like an order magnitude higher so maybe he's just got a super high voice then he hit low notes in the area I feel comfortable with such great tone and power. He's like super-super-star good! I had no idea that if you could hit low notes like he does that you could still connect the high ones with such integrity but such softness. Incredible!

This young man has been blessed with the vocals of a lifetime and what does he do with them?He works harder than any human I have ever known to continue to improve, push boundaries and create master classes in vocal techniques simply by performing. While I will never cease to marvel at his abilities, what keeps me coming back to him is the person he is inside; humble, dedicated, hard working and empathetic. This performance was from late 2018. The first time I heard him perform SOS was from The Singer China 2017. The amount of improvement he shows us here is ridiculous and all thanks to dedication, persistence and passion. I think this is simply out of reach for most people who are old enough to appreciate how good it is right now. To be able to sing the way Dimash does with that range, you have to start VERY early. You also have to have some genetic luck with the size of your vocal cords to begin with. He also trained to fill a more traditional "woman" position within his school choir because they didn't have enough girls to fill, and he continued training as he went through puberty, so he didn't lose that upper register. Simply put, even if you train yourself as much as possible, if you're an adult just starting right now, it probably is literally impossible to get where Dimash is vocally. If you're looking at singing, don't set your bar at Dimash's level, or you're just going to feel disappointed if you don't get there. Instead, find out where your voice fits comfortably and work your musicality in around it.
As he said in the beginning he's from Kazakhstan, his nation is Kazakh. We really proud of him. He's just 24 y.o. but now is becoming one of the most popular singer in the world. Here on the RUclips you can find lots of his performances almost all of those are great. Thanks.

It's not only his control and his unbelievable range (I'm not sure, but I think he's the singer with the world's widest vocal range, it's even (slightly) wider than Patton's) I also just love his voice. You definitely have to check out other songs as well! :-) e.g. Opera 2, Sinful Passion, Diva Dance (Bastau), I Only Love You, Hello, Daididau etc. He doesn't have a professional management (a friend of him does it XD ), most people know him bc of his participation in a Chinese TV show ("Singer") and bc he is featured in a lot of reaction videos on YT, there are so many vocal coaches all over the world who have been stunned by him.

It is a sad song not only because of its lyrics (the distraught thoughts of a dying man) but also because it marks a tragedy for Dimash himself, and it is possible that he can never sing it again. The song was made well-known and popular in France by Grigori Lemarchal, who died at the age of 23 of cystic fibrosis (an incurable lung disease). Dimash was invited to pay an interlude visit to France during the Hunan Television (China) singer contest, Singer 2017, where he performed this song. During his visit to Paris he also went to the cemetery where Grigori Lemarchal is buried, and laid flowers on his grave.

At first I thought ...well his tessitura is just like an order magnitude higher so maybe he's just got a super high voice then he hit low notes in the area I feel comfortable with such great tone and power. He's like super-super-star good! I had no idea that if you could hit low notes like he does that you could still connect the high ones with such integrity but such softness. Incredible!
Yeah, it's like you go, oh I can sing high, but I bet I can sing lower than him, and then he throws in some low notes and you go "Nevermind!"...😊
For you to have a fuller understanding of Dimash's low notes, please, listen to his "Sinful Passion" (2018, Sochi) or "The Love of Tired Swans" (2018, Moscow).
OMG Then you should listen to him do Sinful Passion or The Love of Tired Swans (both with English subtitles). He also revamped Lionel Ritchie's Hello, adding a very mystical tone. He has a lot of input into the arrangements of the songs he sings. I don't know which entrances me more: his voice or his personality.

As a rule, I don't like men singing in such high pitched voice. But I have to admit - that was VERY impressive. Really shows great skill. Awesome.

This young man has been blessed with the vocals of a lifetime and what does he do with them?He works harder than any human I have ever known to continue to improve, push boundaries and create master classes in vocal techniques simply by performing. While I will never cease to marvel at his abilities, what keeps me coming back to him is the person he is inside; humble, dedicated, hard working and empathetic.
This performance was from late 2018. The first time I heard him perform SOS was from The Singer China 2017. The amount of improvement he shows us here is ridiculous and all thanks to dedication, persistence and passion. I think he is probably one of those students that would likely teach you as much as he learns from you. ❤️❤️ Bravo, Ken! I think this is simply out of reach for most people who are old enough to appreciate how good it is right now. To be able to sing the way Dimash does with that range, you have to start VERY early. You also have to have some genetic luck with the size of your vocal cords to begin with. He also trained to fill a more traditional "woman" position within his school choir because they didn't have enough girls to fill, and he continued training as he went through puberty, so he didn't lose that upper register.
Simply put, even if you train yourself as much as possible, if you're an adult just starting right now, it probably is literally impossible to get where Dimash is vocally.
If you're looking at singing, don't set your bar at Dimash's level, or you're just going to feel disappointed if you don't get there. Instead, find out where your voice fits comfortably and work your musicality in around it.

As he said in the beginning he's from Kazakhstan, his nation is Kazakh. We really proud of him. He's just 24 y.o. but now is becoming one of the most popular singer in the world. Here on the RUclips you can find lots of his performances almost all of those are great. Thanks.

It's not only his control and his unbelievable range (I'm not sure, but I think he's the singer with the world's widest vocal range, it's even (slightly) wider than Patton's) I also just love his voice. You definitely have to check out other songs as well! :-) e.g. Opera 2, Sinful Passion, Diva Dance (Bastau), I Only Love You, Hello, Daididau etc.
He doesn't have a professional management (a friend of him does it XD ), most people know him bc of his participation in a Chinese TV show ("Singer") and bc he is featured in a lot of reaction videos on YT, there are so many vocal coaches all over the world who have been stunned by him.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Dimash sings this sad song in a way that nobody else can do. It is a sad song not only because of its lyrics (the distraught thoughts of a dying man) but also because it marks a tragedy for Dimash himself, and it is possible that he can never sing it again. The song was made well-known and popular in France by Grigori Lemarchal, who died at the age of 23 of cystic fibrosis (an incurable lung disease). Dimash was invited to pay an interlude visit to France during the Hunan Television (China) singer contest, Singer 2017, where he performed this song. During his visit to Paris he also went to the cemetery where Grigori Lemarchal is buried, and laid flowers on his grave.
