I don’t know Hebrew, but I know French. The French lady speaks Hebrew with a heavy french accent. I knew she was France as soon as she started speaking. In fact, at first I thought it was French
Yeah, reminds me of when I saw a TV presenter speaking Breton, she was using the exact same phonemes and prosody as in French, so it just sounded to me like she was having a stroke and saying random syllables. I feel like in Hebrew we could do the same, the only sound they have a lot that we don't is /χ/, which I find easy to make since it's close to our R sound.
I think you would hear that accent even if they speak Martian
That last dude wanted to talk about it at length so badly, but I notice israelis in groups often consult or look at the group for approval or validation when they say something about the country. As if they're asking them if it is ok to say what they're saying. Peer pressure to keep the narrative pure and "consistent".
There's something scary to me about how much intellectual searching gets blocked off by modern Israeli frameworks for acceptable culture

How insane world we live in moved to Palestine 10 yrs ago and tells Palestinians to leave their home who lived there for centuries
????
That's interesting, my grandparents who immigrated to Israel from Ukraine didn't tell me they told Palestinians to leave.
How insane is it that Arabs who were brought by the British to work in this land from Egypt or Lebanon in the 1940s are considered indigenous to this land, and their descendants are eternally labeled "Palestinian refugees" through inheritance unlike any other refugee in the world?
It's crazy that people from the land are being annihilated, while some random tourists for religion can get a citizenship and paid studies, with American funding.

Seriously. It's so infuriating that the US government will give all of the money for folks to make horrible videos mocking Palestinians (not this one directly although seeing multiple Americans there who are settlers while Palestinians are treated like 2nd class citizens) is tremendously disappointing & tone-deaf, especially now. At the same time, the person doing these interviews is also a happy settler who has expressed that he doesn't see a difference between Palestinians & Hamas in a different video interview.
The issue rather seems to be you conflating a ton of things. This channel actually works with Arab Israelis and sustains them too. The US isn't funding this channel. The channel actually gives you the views of actual Israelis and Palestinians, rather than western babes spreading nonsense without ever having been to either place. It's not tone-deaf, it's a source of actual reliable knowledge. Corey is not a settler, he married to Israel. No idea where you get all that nonsense from.@@JenniferStavros
The U.S. provides Israel nearly $10.5 million* in military aid per day, while it gives the Palestinians $0.71 million** per day in foreign (non-military) aid.
This is especially striking when one realizes that Israel is now a wealthy industrial state with a per capita income roughly equal to South Korea or Spain.
Thanks in part to this indirect U.S. subsidy, Israel’s arms industry has become one of the strongest in the world. Between 2001 and 2008, Israel was the 7th largest arms supplier to the world, selling $9.9 billion worth of equipment. And it continues to grow stronger.
Regarding U.S. aid to the Palestinian Authority, many Palestinian experts assert that the support actually helps Israel maintain its illegal occupation of Palestinian land. "Security collaboration" between the PA and Israel means that Palestinian police are being outsourced to monitor and respond to Palestinians resisting the Israeli occupation or protesting against Israel's assaults on Gaza.
Additionally, "about $50 million in US assistance to the Palestinians does not flow directly to the PA but instead to Israel, which uses the money in part to pay off Palestinian debts to Israeli service providers such as electricity companies."
U.S. aid to the PA also makes it easier and cheaper for Israel to spend its own US aid on security for its Jewish-only settlement
s built on confiscated Palestinian land, which is illegal under international law. Recent research has shown that at least
78% of international aid money to the West Bank and Gaza ends up in Israel's economy.

"Israel is a white colonial state"
Literally most of the people who immigrated here are brown
~45% are of Jews in Israel are white
This video counters that statement
Jews always knew where their land was. The Ottoman Empire opposed Jewish immigration in a high concentration at the time. It is not surprising that they all returned to the same land, not very large. The situation of Judaism was like this because it is the most persecuted religion. who, despite all her years in each country, always tried to live in coexistence alongside others without occupying lands. This is the reason Israel did not conquer anything. The Jews are simply in their land, Jews are from Judea/Israel, just as Swedes are from Sweden. Palestine invented a flag that is similar to any flag in an Arab country, if this is not an attempt at occupation then what is. free israel, shalom alychem.
You live in the upside down, but ok 👍.
And yes they drove out people living there, it didn't just "appear". Educate yourself a little.
Funny, if I leave a queue for 5 minutes in the supermarket I get back in line at the back, you leave for 3000 years and claim the whole land, even giving people the right to claim a house a jewish person once lived in. Would be funny if one day I show up at your doorstep claiming your house because my grandfather used to live in it right?
@@theoutsider078 No, you are wrong.. First, 3000 years have not passed, it is much less, secondly, all those years, Jews also lived there, for example, in Jerusalem, Hebron, and Safed. Jenin - its source for example is ein ganim, and it was a Jewish city. In other words, Muslims conquered the land, therefore Christians also took revenge on them in the Crusades. Regarding the houses you mentioned, we are talking about Jews who lived in these houses before 48 and ran away from the houses because of the war. Jews were also thrown out of their homes from Arab countries. How many Jews live in Arab countries today? But maybe you will answer me the simple question - who was the president and who was the prime minister of Palestine before 1948? And another question, it is known that Syrians fled during the war - in the future do you think they have the right to return to their country? Because if the Jews are not allowed, maybe the Syrians are also not allowed?
@@vbs-mb1qs Kicked out of their homes in Arab countries? When was did in 1948 or later upon voluntary migration? "Between 1948 and 1951, 260000 Jews immigrated to Israel from Arab countries. In response, the Israeli government implemented policies to accommodate 600000 immigrants over a period of four years, doubling the country's Jewish population. This move encountered mixed reactions in the Knesset; in addition to some Israeli officials, there were those within the Jewish Agency who opposed promoting a large-scale emigration movement among Jews whose lives were not in immediate danger."
Austria- Hungary was not a modern national state around that time either was it? Egypt did not exist before their independence in 1921? Tunisia before 1956? Canada before 1990? You could just expel those people from their land and homes? Russia can just take over the entire Ukraine because native Russians are living there and then the Ukrainians cannot return to their homes? BTW, the jews from before 1948 are not too fond of the influx are they, like the ones in the pro Palestinian cities and the Jerusalem neighborhood of Mea Sharim.
@@theoutsider078 The Palestinians are not native to the place, those who know the population in Israel today can easily understand the ethnic groups associated with the neighboring land, Levantines, Syrians, Christians, Muslims, without connection with each other and in different settlements. And the original territory of Israel today is its historical territory. So how exactly between 1948-1967 did Jordan rule the West Bank?! You talked about the Jewish population, because specifically in Europe the Nazi government denied rights to Jews so that they would leave, the German chancellor also wanted that. But Amin Al Husseini, who saw that the Jewish population was growing in Israel, collaborated with Hitler to concentrate Jews in labor and extermination camps, 6 million Jews. Even the LehI tried to contact the German government through mediation. They were not punished. That is, the radical Muslims tried to commit genocide against the Jews in the Holocaust and in 1948, so that Israel will regret defending itself?! After all, not a single Jew immigrated from Saudi Arabia in 1948, because they were all murdered, fled or were forced to convert to Islam. In other words, the argument was always religious. And as for Palestine - this name is originally Greek from the word "wrestler" in a simple Greek translation, try it too. This name was also foreign to the existing population, because the northern part of the land of Israel was attributed to Syria as southern Syria, the West Bank to Jordan. In other words, are you serious that you give Austria, Hungary and Egypt as examples? They had emperors, kings and a fairly familiar local history. Was there a Palestinian king? A Palestinian queen? prince? Caesar? No . On the contrary, there was the kingdom of Israel, the kingdom of Judah, there was a king of Israel, well-known rabbis, a very great history. I will also answer you about the Jews of Mea Shearim and the groups of Jews who oppose Israel, the reason is simple, they do not deny that this is the land of Israel, after all some of them live here, and some in other countries, but the basis of their opposition is that Israel is run as a democratic country, and that is why they see it as occupied because Originally in the Kingdom of Israel there were Jewish rabbinical courts and today they are national-democratic. But they are very small groups compared to the Jews who live in Israel, which is run as a democratic country, but there are also rabbinical courts through which Jews live according to the Halacha.

The so called “stolen land” was occupied by the ottomans for 500 years. It was inhabited by both Jews and Arabs, so for you to say that Jews are colonisers and that they stole the land from a non existent group is nonsensical.

@dbuc4671 there is no equivalence because only Jews allowed to move to Israel Palestinians are not allowed to return home and many are being turned out if their homes because of a claim that God has promised the land exclusively to the Jews. As an Israeli, here is my answer, if we want to pay attention to others opinions, we will not be able to get more Palestinian lands, those lands where Palestinians live is the land where our ancestors lived 3000 years ago, let's agree on the fact that we can do anything anytime anywhere and literally no one can prevent us or make us accountable, we are so kind that we didn't use a nuclear bomb in Gaza, we didn't kill all of them, so it's not a genocide, the international laws are made to normal peoples, my people can't follow these laws because we are live on a tiny piece of land surrounded by enemies, it's a state that no other country has, so we can't follow these laws, we are different

@@Yodaswag so you think it's okay to give up our land to others to stop their attacks ?? We have the power bro wake up
@@tomerhuss I didnt say which parts I dont agree with. I generally couldnt fully understand what you mean. Its true that if Israel wanted to actually commit gross genocide on the palestinians, it could. It's true that Israel can forcibly take land, change goverment, and do as it wants. I think the question is which values you hold dearly and what future you want to see. Ideally for me, I want to minimize murders and unjust death while maximising the general populations happiness and standard of living. Israel cant do much to help all the people dying in civil wars or genocides in africa and its unfair that the world which can help chooses to focus most of its attention here. But whether the world focuses its attention or not, Israel can do something about the quality of living in the west bank and gaza as well as the rest of the country. Right now, everybody in the region is under this constant state of war, sirens, bomb shelters, PR war, fear. We can all agree that its a bad thing. I frankly dont have a full solution for it nor the power to do much about it but i'd like to believe that debates and deliberate thinking regarding the conflict will help come closer to a solution.
One thing ill say is to always put yourself in the other sides shoes, @tomerhuss. Thats what this channel is about. If they had power, how would you feel if they took more lands? How would you feel if they gave up some lands, despite the power they hold? Really dig in to the thought experiment.

So majority of Israel inhabitants are internationals, who might or not might have Hebrew blood anymore. They might have inheritance, religion and diluted genes. British had already a "mandate", who are they to have a mandate. Then the arguments and clashes started, as they brought more and more in. Then they took over majority of the land 56% and had their eye on Jerusalem too as it proved later. They expected Palestinians not to be infuriated with this, whereas the cities they took were the largest, potential with the most income. Many of those were Zionists who wanted to "liberate and re create the land of Israel". They took the land where most Jewish settlement were and split Palestine in 3. So of a Palestinian wanted to move in their country the had to pass from Israel. That does sound like subjugation to me. Jews weren't probably wanted in large populations, but we have no proof that many of these fights didn't involve Zionists. There are a few photos of that Houssein guy taling to Hitler, which are worrying for me. This is the only fact I have seen against the Arabs. If Jews wanted to live in ancient Israel they could have asked land from Lebannon, Syria, Jordan, and Palestine. They could have taken the corners. No major cities and no Jerusalem. Why only Palestine? They couldn't have achieved that without US and UK. So who is right now? I was supporting Jews to have their own country due to being chased ect. But they didn't arrive alone, they brought Zionists in, they later shown their brutality. Now Palestinians are dying for international population. So who is right? I understand about human rights and better conditions, but this all happened with money from the US on blood of local population. So who is right??? At this point, I support Palestine and have since the begging of this war/ genoside.
You really went through a lot of time and effort for nothing. The conflict is far more complicated than you're making it but I don't feel like rehashing history. You're talking about events that happened 75-100 years ago. Israel is a reality and it is not going anywhere. And it is not committing genocide. Look up the charter of Hamas and the statements made by their sponsors in Iran and you'll see who is planning genocide.
Wow..that just opened up my eyes...gotta do some research

Thank you Corey for showing us the reality, this is so heartbreaking for the Palestinians, they can’t stay or come back to their homes but other foreigners can!
Israel becoming a nation in 1948 does not fulfill Bible prophecy!
“One left, one taken” does to teach the rapture doctrine invented in 1830 AD, but was fulfilled in the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD when the “Christians were taken” when they saw Jerusalem surrounded by armies (Luke 21:20) and fled the city as Jesus instructed.
When Jesus talked of the destruction of Jerusalem in Mark 13, Matt 24 and Luke 21, he made no mention of the possibility of return and restoration. And Luke’s gospel is the one that sets out most clearly that all the promises of restoration are met in Jesus.
The prophecies in the Bible mostly relate to events that have already past. The Jews were promised a return to their homeland after the Babylonian exile, which was fulfilled in Old Testament times, between 538 and 445 B.C. You can read about these in Ezra and Nehemiah in the Old Testament (the Tanakh).

@negationf6973 There is a problem with that. A very big problem. They oppose nation states for other people except themselves. Why are European nations expected to open their borders because of their political/economic influence?
They are expected to be tolerated in Western countries but deny other people the same opportunity in Israel. When they defend themselves against hostile people, it's justified, but when Europeans do it, then it's extremism in their eyes.

Make sure that you segregate people blacks, whites, Christians, Muslims, Rich, poor. So that you can always have someone different who can be your enemy.
