Finally someone who explains and demonstrates so well!! I kept trying and just gave up, then I tried again successfully after watching your video. Thx ya!! Love the ring also!
Hey I love your video, I’ve been doing Marley twists for YEARSSS and your video is by far the easiest to follow. Did you blow dry or hair beforehand to prep for this hairstyle ?
Ahhhh! Thanks so much. I’m so glad it was helpful. And no I never blow dry my hair because I’m scared of losing my curl pattern lol... but very rarely when I do box braids
Hello love the technique and demonstration I've been trying to find this particular rubber band method for the longest lol. I do have 1 question the type of hair that I will be using comes with a pack of 3 big bundles and each bundle is already pre sectioned( like the hair you are using) but the sections are a bit on the thicker side and I would like for my twists to be approx the size of yours so I would have to split one of the already sectioned pieces to get it smaller, if you wouldn't mind giving me a finger width measurement of how thick your pre sectioned pieces are this would be great ex: is it 1 finger width thick, 2 fingers thick etc. I hope this makes sense lol. I notice there is a part on your video when you hold up a piece of the Marley hair showing us how it looks this is where I was trying to guesstimate approx how this it is but i didn't want to risk it lol
Do the rubber bands ever cause any breakage to you own hair? I really want to try you method especially since I am a beginner but I am worried about that.
I was scared of this too but I was fine when loosened them.. plus it naturally gets looser towards the root as your hair grows out. I would also dip the rubber bands in oil prior to installing to help with this as well.
@@rondas7772 thanxs for responding. I still think it looks beautiful on u. Btw thanxs for the tip regarding the hair reusability. Im planning to do my daughter's nxt wk. Once we r outta this deep snow-freeze...fingers crossed i hope it come out like urz did.
This hairstyle looks good on you well done and neat

You are just gorgeous, girl! You served us good content & LOOKS for days. Love how the makeup look is so subtle, yet really compliments your features.
Omg you are so sweet! thanks so much girl!
I start with a braid down 3x then I start to twist . Love the style looked great. I will be doing my hair again in about a week.

Yassss ! The color is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Watching vids to prep to do this myself tried passion twist but hated how my hair kept coming out the twist.
Very very pretty! I don't know if anyone has told you that you look like Chili from TLC!
Wow! What a compliment! Thanks so much!
So pretty and love the look of Marley. I’ve always used kanekalon hair, do you find this hair dries your own hair out?
I feel like it used to dry my hair out. But I started to incorporate leave in conditioner and moisturizer before styling
Looks great and I love how u don’t need the crochet needle
Thank you!

Probably like 1.5, it kinda thins as you continue to twist tighter and tighter.
I was just at my local beauty supply store and they had lots of T27.
Omgggg grab them for me lol
You look like AJ Johnson back in her house party days. Cute. Thanks for the tutorial because I’m not paying 400 dollars for no damn twists. lol
Omggg… feel u. I’ve saved so much money. Plus I can achieve the look exactly how I want it

I was scared of this too but I was fine when loosened them.. plus it naturally gets looser towards the root as your hair grows out. I would also dip the rubber bands in oil prior to installing to help with this as well.
You can also "soak" your rubber bands with oil. Olive oil, castor oil, etc.
my problem is making the parts but i'm gonna try this
oooo!!! parting is a skill..that I have yet to master lol
Awesome job! Beautiful style! ❤️ Is it heavy? Thanks 😊
Thanks so much! And no not at all!
So cute and looks pretty easy, but how do you get all the twist the same length?
Thanks girl! The pieces are pre-separated
Thank you for the video I have the same extension but the black color please how many strands did you use 1 or 2 ?
Only 1
Very nice, thank you
So cute
Thank you!!
Did you blow dry your hair before? Would you recommend doing so?
I didn’t and it wouldn’t be necessary for this style since the hair was similar to my own
Looks great 😁. Did your hair break off using the rubber bands?
Thank you! Soaking them in grape seed oil and not installing them in as tight helped prevent it from breaking off!
Ty for responding!
Did you dip them at all after?
Yes, but not for too long because I didn’t want to make the ends too straight
How long did it take you to complete this style?
Ooo I can't remember exactly. Maybe 8 hours.
😭
Can you use this same method when braiding or just the Marley twist?
Hey! you mean the rubber band method?
@@MichaleMercedes yes
Looks great! How long did you wear them?
Thank you! And they are currently still in!... so so far it’s been 2 and a half weeks!
Do u ever recycle the hair? Did u pick/fan/pull the ends of the hair so that the ends aren't blunt? Tfs ur technique.
@@nickydancy4087 it's hard to reuse this type of hair bcz it's kinky and gets matted or tangle during take down

What if the elastic breaks after
It should still stay in place
How long did it take?
I can't remember exactly. I think 8 hours
My name is marley
how long does this style last? 1month?
I kept it in for a month, but it probably could have went longer.
my hair stylist said it can last up to 2 months!
You hair look nice. You can find the hair that you are looking for at samsbeauty.com
ML'OR BARNES thanks so much!
