This movie made me cry more than I've ever cried at anything in my life. This film touched my SOUL. So, so beautiful. I gave it a standing ovation when it was finished because I was so moved.
These two actors actually started dating while they were still filming this movie, FYI they're still together😍. Which would explain their excellent on screen chemistry😘😘. They should definitely make another movie together....
The edit and song choice for this was spot on, I actually thought this was the soundtrack and didn't even realise this is a cover version of a dance track. Excellent film that stirs up emotions, best love story I've seen in a while

That's a good question. Perhaps Killian thought it was still unsafe to go back even after a few years. But then ya gotta factor in his development of dementia. Well whatever the reason he obviously didn't forget about Bisilia because he named his only daughter after her....
I think it's because Killian is a man of his word, he told Bisilia he'd only leave her if she asked and i think after she told him to go because it wasn't safe that was sort of the end of their relationship. The sense i got is Killian married some time after and it wouldn't be fair to his new family if he just up and left. He'd always love her but his priority was his family and maybe by the time his wife had died he developed dementia and couldn't go back. I'm not 100% sure but i think that's how it all went down.
Shon9tilR according to the books they had an understanding that when Kilian left that Would be the end of it. In the books his niece asks why he didint return and he Said that it Would never be the same. He wanted her to remeber him as he was when they met. Not as an old man.
