  • The second film in our 13 Films From 13 Years series is one that highlights faith in action with “Nuns on the Bus”. Sister Simone Campbell’s work for immigration reform is memorialized in this short and moving film. As you watch, what are you inspired to stand up for?

It’s a sad 😢 honor to be the first to say something here. You’re sharing something that’s so needed TODAY.
Now a young 75, I’ve been in and around busses for most of my life. My first car was a bus - a 1965 VW Microbus. A fellow surfer taught me to fix it and this became my career. Steve called it “playing the cars.”
Before I started my career position with Avis Rent a Car, I worked as a dispatcher at NYC’s largest school bus company.
Around that time and in spirit, I got on board Ken Kesey’s “Furthur” bus and followed their house band - the Grateful Dead…I’m still riding that bus but “not high on cocaine” as it goes in their “Casey Jones.” That’s thanks to my wife of 45+ years who made me choose…So, I replaced that white powder with another: baby powder…and together we raised a son…
I found your video while searching to see if the 2018 trailer about Nuns on the Bus documentary ever became a reality and, if so, where could I watch it.
As the song go…”still haven’t found what I’m looking for…”
This morning I was at my monthly men’s circle that meets on the lands of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Brentwood. We eat in the main dining hall. This morning I was kibitzing with a few of these grey-haired valiant ladies and mentioned the film. Once told me very proudly that some from her sisterhood were on those buses. FYI This same congregation taught me in elementary school many, many years ago…
I’m gonna share your post and hopefully info on how we can view the full documentary.
