I'm so glad to have been able to see this amazing conductor who escaped my attention. Paavo Jarvi! Why isn't he better known? Such thoughtful interpretations and phrasings. I'm going to start listening to this man's catalogue. And the musicians? Also amazing! Astute, caring, funny, intelligent. Welch ein gemeinshaft. Hilarious Comment: Jarvi says, "This giocoso thing..." Well Paavo they're mostly Deutsche muskiker so giocoso isn't something most Germans know anything about. 😝
