    So what exactly is the difference between the nano and the pico? I feel like the video should have mentioned the differences between them since they are presented together. Ps. I used the pico for profesional use, very nice little station.

      Like depicted towards the end of the clip, the main difference is that the i-CON NANO is meeting the ESD requirements, the i-CON PICO does not. Tool, heating element and tool holder are different.

    you should make more videos like this, which tip is the best for the work intended, which temperature is good, which solder ecc....
    You do not invest anything in marketing and sponsorship and your products are mainly known only in the professional sector.
    I came to know of this premium rated brand only by chance, and I was considering buy a Weller station before.

    Why on ersa soldering system you are still using this old type of tips instead of the integrated cartridges like on the metcal or jbc ?

      Hello Gregan Dark and thanks for your comment. Ersa aspires after sustainable as well as precise soldering technologies. Therefore you can usually replace the soldering tip separately from the heater. Because of this, only the worn tip needs to be disposed of while the functioning heating element can still be used. Very often, this results in lower operating costs for our customers compared to the other systems mentioned. Furthermore, the mentioned catridge technology is not automaticcally more accurate or faster.
      If you want to learn more about the Ersa technology, please contact us at www.kurtzersa.com/electronics-production-equipment/contact/general-contact.html.

    I want to use sd card. Box did not come out of its contents. What can I do to use an external sd card?

    • @ersachannel
      @ersachannel  Год назад

      Sorry for the late response. To be able to use the advanced settings, we offer a free software in our members area. The settings are then played on the stations with an SD card (which is not included in the scope of delivery of the Pico and Nano). Any SD card can be used for this purpose.
      Hope we could help!

    why tip not grounded in pico?

    • @ersachannel
      @ersachannel  6 лет назад

      Hi Andrius, the i-CON NANO is the ESD safe version of this soldering station and thus the tip is connected to ground. For the non ESD version (i-CON NANO) there is no requirement to ground connection. This also explains the price difference of the two stations. Seriously? Do you justify a 50 € difference just for the grounding?! I think I'll buy the Hakko FX888D instead.
