I'm a little late to the game, but the circular needles I have have a lot of extra plastic tube between the needles. Is there a way to use these or would I need to get new needles?
@@lisjvv If you have too long cable you can use MG=Magic Loop. You can find a lot of tutorials how to do it with jogless join which I recommend to you 🙌
@@AshleyLillisKnits I thought a row of k sts and a row of p sts was stockinette sts. Not all k sts. I am doing this on straight needles and the rim is ok but the effect of the body is looking like just the knit stitch. I mean I’m not really bothered as I’m knitting it to match my first jumper which has been done in just knit. I’m just curious about it! Can’t wait for your new knitted vest top that is about to drop! Thanks for everything you do I know I appreciate it. You even answer comments which is more than some on here!
Ashley…Where can I buy the shorter needles that you are using? I can’t knit with the longer needles that are in needle kits. It’s hard to knit with longer needles and a shorter cord.
Hi Ashley. I would love to try this pattern and I am just learning to knit. The problem is that this needle is impossible to find in Canada and the $50 after shipping for U.S. is a bit steep. I have a Wool and the Gang 12MM/US 17/60 CM,...is it possible to make it with this? If not should I be looking for 40CM in Canada? Thanks
Thank you. Very easy pattern. I can’t stop making them!
Oh good - I’m so glad!!

Two questions: 1) how big is your head, please? and 2) did you need a second skein for the pom-pom? Thanks!
Thank you for this pattern

Thanks for video - is super bulky a size 6 or 7 on the yarn label ? 🤔🤔
Usually 6. She’s using a fairly fuzzy yarn, though, so it may rate a 7.
How many stitches would I need for thin yarn that fits a 5 mm circular needle? For a 21 inch head.
Hi there! That takes some work to figure out…. Hoping to put together a video on his soon!

Maybe I missed it, but what is the circumference for the 40 st cast on?
The gauge is 8 stitches to 4 inches!

It’s a 16 inch needle! ❤️
@@AshleyLillisKnits ah, ok. About 40 cm. I was trying with a longer one and it was a mass since magic loope is so diffucult for me 🥴. THANK YOU 🧡
Mine was so small! 🤣 I cast on 60.
Glad you figured out how to make it work for you!

You can always use the magic loop method if you have long needles!
