As this phrase has the meaning of we have no hope, we are defeated, and we are toasted. Is there another phrase better than this one. used to 是不是可以取代 had been v-ing?

補充一下, used to 的 negative form, 若是in very formal case亦可以是used not to. I used not to get down to business as soon as possible, but I do now.

教得很清楚, 讚. 小小建議, 説話時慢一點so that we could follow better. 另一建議, 可以教phrasal verbs嗎? 例如get around, get around to it看來相似, 但意思卻全然不同.
