i have the same issue, but i have a chromebook OS with very high disk space (that i cant upgrade) ive tried everything but i and seems like the only other solve problem is trying these recovery websites but none them support google chromebooks or i need to get an amount of disk space on it, i don't have any money to get it fix and i need help now.
so if there is a website that js supports chromebooks OS/or any gen of chromebook without using linux then please please let me know so i can get this issue of mine fixed.

My screen is not pitch black but when I press the on button the screen. Is dark but there is a little patch in the corner that looks abit like dark purple and I can hear my actual phone getting notifications

I tried accessing my Apple Music in my laptop then the code thing light up my screen. I solved it by accident. Hope it works for you too

@@metricgamer4737 when you sign in/log in to a new device (in my case, new browser in my laptop 'cause I was trying to login my Apple Music account), there's a code that will be sent to your iphone for authentication purposes. My screen instantly light up when the code was sent
