Stalker Gamma has done something that no other game has.
I can be hunting in the middle of the night, with a worn-down SKS in truck cemetery, quietly smoking a cigarette at the top of the watchtower under
the cover of its roof during the blissful yet unnerving rain, the sound of gunshots in the distance, scouting for enemy faction members, when out of nowhere,
my PDA beeps, and upon opening it and checking the messages tab, seeing a bounty out for a 'loner'. Faction patch shows mercenaries, a faction that I'm
against, and I panic a bit, wondering if its me they're talking about. Surely not, there are plenty of loners in the Zone, couldn't be me.
A couple minutes pass of more scouting, just eating some food and drinking some water, staying on top of the nutrients, all the jazz, when out the corner of my
eye, I notice a group of mercs coming, from the pathway on the south side, or so I recall. Obviously, it's pitch black, they can't see me. But at that moment, I knew
these guys were gonna be tough sumbitches, and decided to head out for the night, retracing to Rostok, selling some of the loot I got from a couple stashes
in the cemetery.
Would've fought them, but I was playing an Invictus run and didn't want to risk dying, especially since I didn't have much yadulin for post-heal. Going out to truck
cemetery was already enough risk ahaha.
Can't think of a AAA game that does it like this. With or without mods.

With how many total overhaul mods there are, when someone says they play Stalker, they may be talking about 7 or 8 different games 😂
Every time I see another video of stalker it looks very different than my game. I could play Anomaly for a 1000 hours and I'll still have so many other almost brand new Stalker experiences waiting for me. That's so awesome.
I am addicted to stalker since roughly 2015
These days I'm just enjoying slowly playing through gamma modpack but back then I was playing the legendary Zaurus Crew mod series, Stalker Soup, Photographer, Lost Alpha, SGM and many more, so naturally sometimes I long for a proper story mode in anomaly with fleshed out quests, characters and lore but nobody seems to work in that direction.

That's kinda what I want to get back into. A nice story mod. So far, I've done Radiophobia 3, Gunslinger for COP, and True Stalker.

G.A.M.M.A is the BEST community made mod project AND Survival Horror FPS ever made imo. It's vibe, immersion and granular progression is unmatched. The sense of accomplishment when you build up your first gun or find your first repair kit is UNMATCHED. Imagine being able to play co-op with a buddy or split screen. My internet sucks and I dearly miss the days of split screen co-op.
Miss those split screen co-op days more and more bro.
GAMMA needs a co-op mod.

oh man i was sooo addicted to this game. my save got messed up so i stopped. But this game is so satisfying.
It really is so good.
The good thing is that the game goes different every time. Go back in, maybe switch it up with a different loadout this time.

I want to like the game. But I just don't care for paranormal stuff. I just want this game in a real world scenario, post apocalypse, factions and all.

How did that one freedom trader at 7:47 have firearms? Gamma doesn't let them sell firearms.
@booradley948 you can add them back via turning of trader overhaul in the mod list. I personally don't like how weapons aren't sold but everything else is, but they are super expensive. I mean almost outrageous

I can see that being an issue for some. I think the A life system helps with the repetitiveness. Since each outing can be very different from one another.

SIG handguns are garbage, same with S&W M&P pistols... WTF are you on about? CZ, Glock or a sharp stick (Canik is acceptable too). You kids need to actually go shoot/touch grass instead of just watching youtube videos and then pretending you know about things.
@DB.KOOPER what are you even talking about? I own a Glock 19 IRL, and a S&W M&P. Sigs are cool, especially older ones. Canik can be ok. How about instead of assuming ones life from an internet video, you think about your choices first.

I love your content and watch daily! Would really like to see you grow more but i feel your missing out by not trying kick Lol, Kick is actually extremely good for people around your viewer count on the up and coming cause its not super saturated like twitch, not to mention kicks partnership program once you average around 100-200 viewers you qualify and can make anywhere to $10-30 an hour just for streaming... if you make it big they pay some of their top streamers 2k-3k an hour but thats huge numbers.... but still when i finally hit $15 an hour mark on kick partner program i was able to put my 2 weeks and focus full time on my streamer career cause thats just 1 part of the income not including sub/donations... also kick takes 0% of subs its 95/5 split and 5% only goes to payment processor not even kick themselves... (In no way do i work for kick (besides streaming their myself) or have some afflicate purpose to try to convince you to give it a try one day) I just know the grind i've been grinding for 5-6 years on twitch, facebook gaming, not a ton of youtube since i mainly stream... but when i finally made the swap over to kick i feel like my stream is finally getting the chance to grow and shine.... i feel like on twitch im just so low cause the market is so saturated and filled with tons and tons of 20--60 viewer streamers so hard to even get noticed... twitch doesn't do a good job to help new people get discovered i really wish they would work on that, I see you grinding heavy and i see myself in your shoes and i just want you to grow as well... maybe if you get some downtown don't take my word just look into it for yourself, Kick gets alot bad raps because of stake gambling but tbh... if i continue to grow i'd probaby take a sponsor because its shorts its food on the table for my family. I was attracted to gamma since I'm following people playing it but when I did install it I was just debugging and troubleshooting to fix issues the second I started to download it I have deleted my favourite game to free some space in c partition cuz it was so huge I never expected that but no complaints this my most favourite game but the game was a buggy crashy hell I couldn't even loot enemy bodies I have destroyed an entire army of mercs after they ambushed me then I couldn't loot them besides crashes and bad graphics and worst gun play I ever had idk what do u guys do for the game to look so smooth but I wont repeat that experience efp is better imo
