For everybody saying that this concept was copied from ‘NCT’s Black on Black’ concept, i would just like to let them know that this concept, and Oh My’s concept are correlated to each other because ‘Oh My’ is their expectation of a nice and happy life, while ‘Getting Closer’ is the reality of their horrible and traumatizing life. So both of the concepts were planned before hand, and this is all completely Seventeen’s ORIGINAL work. We need to give our boys credit for their independent, creative hard work. As a former dancer, I am always in awe woth how in sync they are with the number of members they have. Every one is holding their own as well as having their own individuality shine even while working as part of the whole. Jun really should get extra props for landing that jump on the beat every time. I once had a choreo that required me to flip into the air and land on a particular note in the song. IT IS SO FREAKING HARD TO PULL OFF ONCE GRAVITY IS INVOLVED! Jun not only has to jump high, but he has to fight the instinct to swing his legs down and arc back to increase the air time and time it just right to swing his feet foreward to land before gravity forces a fall. He makes it look so easy, but it really isn't. *proud*

Ok so while everyone Is talking about the thing about disliking the video im here making theories. 2 important members in this MV - Wonwoo - Mingyu First let me make a resume. Seventeen members fell in love in Boom Boom era, but fell apart in DWC, the 3 leaders in change up talk about how to make the members happy again and create Clap as a dream (Why dream, Boom Boom MV was also a dream, you can see it in some theories) thats why, Woozi Is sitting in front of that little house, S.coups starts the film and Hoshi Is the CEO. The Clap dream fails thats why there are so many glitches and Wonwoo takes control, then Flower comes, Flower says "its ok for me to get hurt because you grew in my heart” so the members try to say that the leaders did it wrong and they should know about how is to get hurt. Wonwoo starts Thanks as a dream too, Why Wonwoo? In Thanks he's the only one who doesn't stares at the camera in the make up scene, also when all the members try to escape (go to the exit) Wonwoo makes them fall sleep again (thats why he Is the only one who stands up in the end of the MV) then now Getting Closer... The members After Wonwoo makes them fall a sleep try to find the exit, thats why Wonwoo Is not doing it, because its his dream. Why there are so many clocks? In change up the 3 leaders try also to go back in time but something fails (thats why in the MV there is a clock going backwards) also the sunflowers are important, THOSE are the same sunflowers in Oh My, 3 sunflowers representing the 3 Units. I just wanted to share something, despite of the issue between carats and pledis entertainment/seventeen, this caught my attention... Have you seen its english lyrics? In Wonwoo and Seokmin’s part it means in english: “Get a hold of yourself, careful, careful or else (I’m gonna be) Falling down, down.” It’s like telling those kcarats who were boycotting and disliking their new mv. Literally, they are saying that they may be the possible reason of their downfall. So, please carats, let’s learn from this and continue to grow with them in a better way. After the first chorus, in Joshua and Jun’s part, in english it says: “Do you know how I feel?” “I wonder if you know what I feel.” “You are my one and only.” There is no doubt that they meant it for us, especially those carats who seem not to wake up from reality yet. Carats, we are the only ones for them. Let’s not disappoint them. But about the MV itself. It is one of the best that Seventeen have made. I love the fact that they can do their best whatever is the concept. They can be amazing and talented in everything. Its not like they're trapped in a concept or a style. They are multitalented, every one of them. Its not like is just Woozi(i'm a Jihoon stan) and Hoshi, they are a team. The Music is diferent from everything they have done in the past, and i'm not just talking about the tittle tracks, even the lyrics are a little diferent from the past. Its like they are saying that they're evolving and that in 2019 they're going to bring new things to us, but they will stay the same, i can say by the references in de MV, i'have seen Trauma, Thanks, Oh My and even Clap in this. honestly svt needs WAY more recognition. All their songs are bops and well balanced with sick beats, vocals and raps. AND dont even forget about the choreographies. The fact that usually (im not hating on any bands) there are main members that are usually good at dancing. While svt does have a dance line you have to admit all of them can dance hard choreographies. OMG and lemme talk about how open they are. The boys support the LGBTQ2 Community. They arent the only ones in the kpop industry but lets take into consideration that the fact that korea is a small country with strong beliefs. I adore the fact they are opening up to it especially the youth. We are not hating on the mv! Pledis is starting to uplaod all their artists' music videos on pledis ent channel and we are pissed because it has like 600k subscribers when Svt's channel has 3.2M subscribers. We are afraid it will affect their views and popularity, especially internationally. Pledis isn't a well-known company. Some carats are showing their disappointment with the company's actions the wrong way and dislike the mv.
Its not cus we dislike the song, it's cus carats are going against pledis as they decided to merge their artists videos onto their one channel instead of seventeens

As a former dancer, I am always in awe woth how in sync they are with the number of members they have. Every one is holding their own as well as having their own individuality shine even while working as part of the whole. Jun really should get extra props for landing that jump on the beat every time. I once had a choreo that required me to flip into the air and land on a particular note in the song. IT IS SO FREAKING HARD TO PULL OFF ONCE GRAVITY IS INVOLVED! Jun not only has to jump high, but he has to fight the instinct to swing his legs down and arc back to increase the air time and time it just right to swing his feet foreward to land before gravity forces a fall. He makes it look so easy, but it really isn't. *proud*

Seventeen members fell in love in Boom Boom era, but fell apart in DWC, the 3 leaders in change up talk about how to make the members happy again and create Clap as a dream (Why dream, Boom Boom MV was also a dream, you can see it in some theories) thats why, Woozi Is sitting in front of that little house, S.coups starts the film and Hoshi Is the CEO. The Clap dream fails thats why there are so many glitches and Wonwoo takes control, then Flower comes, Flower says "its ok for me to get hurt because you grew in my heart” so the members try to say that the leaders did it wrong and they should know about how is to get hurt. Wonwoo starts Thanks as a dream too, Why Wonwoo? In Thanks he's the only one who doesn't stares at the camera in the make up scene, also when all the members try to escape (go to the exit) Wonwoo makes them fall sleep again (thats why he Is the only one who stands up in the end of the MV) then now Getting Closer...
The members After Wonwoo makes them fall a sleep try to find the exit, thats why Wonwoo Is not doing it, because its his dream. Why there are so many clocks? In change up the 3 leaders try also to go back in time but something fails (thats why in the MV there is a clock going backwards) also the sunflowers are important, THOSE are the same sunflowers in Oh My, 3 sunflowers representing the 3 Units. All the members are in a deep sleep... Well Mingyu Is not.
Mingyu Is awake thats why you can see him sitting while everyone Is dreaming and touching the sunflowers like if he has seen them before (Oh my) Also you should know that in Oh My he throws those same sunflowers to wake up the members thing that doesn't happen. In Oh My all the members are dreaming (a dream that Wonwoo made, thats why he Is controlling the members with a rubik cube. Mingyu in the Oh My MV is the only who Is not asleep till one point, but he falls and tries to wake up the members. Oh My has 5 dream fases

Jennifer Lee i don't think so, Pledis may be doing things the wrong way sometimes but they're not that dumb to delete SVT channel and lose all that views and subscribers. Pledis is only posting the mv and teasers of their artist to this Pledis channel but other contents like Going Seventeen or other videos would still be uploaded on Seventeen channel.

I know plenty of you wont be able to read this because it might lost here in this comment section. I just wanted to share something, despite of the issue between carats and pledis entertainment/seventeen, this caught my attention...
Have you seen its english lyrics? I don’t know for you but this really fits the situation we carats are having right now. I can’t really explain it well but this really caught my attention.
In Wonwoo and Seokmin’s part it means in english: “Get a hold of yourself, careful, careful or else (I’m gonna be) Falling down, down.” It’s like telling those kcarats who were boycotting and disliking their new mv. Literally, they are saying that they may be the possible reason of their downfall. So, please carats, let’s learn from this and continue to grow with them in a better way.
After the first chorus, in Joshua and Jun’s part, in english it says: “Do you know how I feel?” “I wonder if you know what I feel.” “You are my one and only.” There is no doubt that they meant it for us, especially those carats who seem not to wake up from reality yet. Carats, we are the only ones for them. Let’s not disappoint them.
In the chorus, in english it says: “Even my heart is aching, my heart continues to grow (continues) continues (continues).” Even if you guys disklike and report this mv, seventeen’s hearts will continue to grow even though their hearts are aching. It’s because seventeen loves us carats. We are seventeen’s strength so that’s why they will still continue despite of this shitty situation.
Also, in Seokmin’s part again, it says: “For some reasons, it’s awkward for me.” “I really don’t want to hate you.” This part really made me realize that this song is really for us carats. It’s awkward for some reasons because seventeen truly cares and loves us all. No matter how shitty this situation we are right now, seventeen cant hate us because they love us too much. Carats, I hope all of us will learn from this and no matter how shitty, immature, or even blinded we are, seventeen truly loves us.
I don’t know if it’s coincidence or not. This song made me realize even we all fucked up and still blinded by this stupid issue or something, seventeen still want us. This song made me realize that seventeen is lowkey letting us realize our immature side and mistakes that we have made to make them feel like this.
We should change for the better, carats. Let seventeen feel that this song touched our soul and made us realized something that we should have realized before. Let’s continue to love and support seventeen with all of out hearts.

I love the fact that they can do their best whatever is the concept. They can be amazing and talented in everything. Its not like they're trapped in a concept or a style. They are multitalented, every one of them. Its not like is just Woozi(i'm a Jihoon stan) and Hoshi, they are a team.
The Music is diferent from everything they have done in the past, and i'm not just talking about the tittle tracks, even the lyrics are a little diferent from the past. Its like they are saying that they're evolving and that in 2019 they're going to bring new things to us, but they will stay the same, i can say by the references in de MV, i'have seen Trauma, Thanks, Oh My and even Clap in this.

honestly svt needs WAY more recognition.
All their songs are bops and well balanced with sick beats, vocals and raps. AND dont even forget about the choreographies. The fact that usually (im not hating on any bands) there are main members that are usually good at dancing. While svt does have a dance line you have to admit all of them can dance hard choreographies. OMG and lemme talk about how open they are. The boys support the LGBTQ2 Community. They arent the only ones in the kpop industry but lets take into consideration that the fact that korea is a small country with strong beliefs. I adore the fact they are opening up to it especially the youth. And the fact they as idols, are doing things like wearing shirts reading books and even sometimes making songs that are gender inclusive. ima say this but svt IS one of the best kpop groups out there dont come at me sis
