  • If you want a good fishing film to watch this might be the one for you at just over an hour long, the fishing trip turns into one of the best that Graeme has ever encountered. Plus he gets a good cookup going ,not realising it was just as well he started it early as the bites came so thick and fast he would barely have time to eat. Stationing himself at Pondwood fishery on a late Autumn afternoon he started by targeting a Carp on the surface with a waggler float. But as the light level dropped so the action started to step up a gear...and he found himself struggling to cope with 2 rod benders at the same time. He waits until dark,then adds something to his rig that seems to send the fish crazy! A film not to miss...It’s Totally Awesome time again..sit back...pour yourself a bevvy and join Graeme on your screen for an epic fishy encounter....Enjoy

    How you were towards the lad at the beginning, letting him bring in the fish even after you had dealt with yours. Respect Graham, what it’s all about. Not enough of that about now a days , anglers happy and getting a buzz for other anglers catching, probably made his day that tbh and gave him the bug for catfishing. Keep it up sir 🫡

      Mikey, I don’t agree with your view of todays anglers. Each time I come across a youngster fishing I take the time to talk to them. As I mainly pike fish I set them good with the etiquette. Wire traces, tools, unhooking etc. I would supply wire traces and advise on casting weights and drags on their reels. I often leave them with a lure that suits their set up and the satisfaction both they and I get is amazing. Before I leave them I always recommend TA fishing for any tips they need. Tight lines.

    Amazing to think those chemical glow lights are nearly as old as me. About 60 years they have been about.
    I heard the chemist who discovered the chemicals to use to generate chemiluminesence
    never got granted a patent.
    But the American company Graeme mentioned, Cyanamid or somthing were funded by US military, they DID get the patent, surprise, surpise.
    Oh and they're not entirely 'safe' either, especially to the environment.
    I had an industrial chemist as a friend years ago and it was a bankside conversation, he was an angler too.
    Great session Graeme. Keep on keeping on!

Down to my last 6 'original Fairy tops' now. Have another insert coming from the lead that is attached to a bank stick but comes out on the strike. That bankstick is attached to a small tin with dry peas and 10mm ball bearings in....anyway.... sounds like I'm setting up a bloody game of Mousetrap up...But it works very well for me...And I don't have to listen to a blooody beep on an electrical item.

    You never seem to have anything vaguely healthy in your food Graeme - no salad, no vegetables (except potatoes) and all fried or out of a tin. Are you a salad-dodger Graeme or do you just go for the easier options when al fresco? :)

      I actually do like salads,but on a cold evening in October outdoors its not quite the Al Fresco experience of a balmy June evening ??...so I go for hot and simple, usually easy to do,but obviously I don't eat that sort of grub all the time.

    Graham I like watching you BUT those bobbins do nothing, your using bite alarms.

    • @TAFishing
      @TAFishing  Год назад

      They indicate a drop-back bite,which is why bobbins are used. That happens when a fish picks up a bait and moves towards you. Bite alarms alone cannot do that.

    Unfortunately Graeme ..you are not unique anymore in a sense of word. There are many Fishing shows hundreds of RUclipsrs from the UK maybe thousands around the world who are filming single-handedly while reeling in big fish what half of them fake . Maybe 15 years ago when RUclips was in its early days but Greame .. however uncle Greame, you will always be unique in your style of fishing and sense humour of course. There is only one fishing channel that I watch TA FISHING you know it's watched by many including me... otherwise I wouldn't be here buddy.. it was your channel like I said in my previous comment that got me back into fishing river fishing after 20 years absent from the river. Anyone can catch a fish in a lake or a pond but it is a skill needed to fish on fast rivers and getting back into sea fishing . after 15 years absent . However, I have never done beach casting fishing from brake waters or pier fishing ...it was always done by a boat on my uncles 45-ft boat (matsuelou ) of Hartlepool coast.. and because of your show that has rekindled my love of fishing 🎣 you've got me back into it and like I said in my previous comment tomorrow is the first time I go back to the sea . I've already spent the last few months since getting home from 🇺🇦 fishing in Richmond Yorkshire near home base .. and it's all down to you Sir . So I thank you very much.. you have forgotten more than I ever knew .

      Thanks for the comment..It was the senior citizen angle I was looking at..I don't know many 70+ year olds cranking out films at the same rate I do..but maybe there are hundreds. I've never found them ... I've now got so many films racked up I can barely edit them,but from November onwards I aim to buckle down even more and try to get all our viewers a real mixture of topics...Fingers crossed anyway...(Out filming in Somerset tomorrow as well).
