    what is the problem wen a rns 510 c from vw have a white screen and do nothing more, de harddrive crashed ore de main bord ore somthing els,

      What he means (I have the same problem) when I turn on the car. The display shows just a white screen. You can listen to radio and so stuff in the tiny display in speedometer. But you dont see anything in your rns screen only white.
      I just tried out to pull out the 3 cables and put them in again no change. I will try out in the front panel too at the weekend. Since I didnt know how to get rid of it.
      His question is what is causing this white screen problem? Is is the harddrive or the mainboard?

      yes but my radio dont give sound also, it strats up , white screen and it go's out again

      Okay, I have even sound! Looks like a mainboard from the front panel failure. Will take a look at the weekend or so.

      Gc Design chris a friend told me (he had the same problem). That if you even don't have sound then it maybe a reboot loop. This needs Firmware flash but his Mainboard in the Front Display was broken and replaced too

      But we didnt change at all and it became white screen. What do you think could be the problem loose cables?
