@@jillspence7227 _"so many truck drivers just don't care."_ You can't really throw every driver in the same bucket. I've been driving for 34 years, never lost a point, never copped a fine, and only been involved in one accident, that was when a car tried to overtake me on the inside when I was turning. _(do not overtake turning vehicle)_ The car lost, I buffed out the scratch. I think if you really looked into it, you'll find that out of all fatalities involving heavy vehicles, the heavy vehicle was *NOT* at fault for 80% of them. So 8 out of 10 fatalities involving a heavy vehicle were caused by the car driver. That's not my opinion, the statistics back that up. The real problem is the mentality of not wanting to drive behind a truck. For some reason, there seems to be an unwritten rule somewhere that says you can't drive behind a truck no matter what, and I've seen some people do some real stupid shit in order to get in front of me. Even if I'm doing 80 in an 80 zone, that _"must not be behind this truck"_ mentality still occurs, and that desire to shave 2 minutes off your trip seems to take precedence over how much you value your life, and the life of everybody else. With the more modern European trucks becoming increasingly popular, things are improving. We've got lane change assist, lane drift warnings, driver alert systems, fatigue sensors, better visibility, automatic braking etc etc. So all of that helps us be a lot more aware of what's going on around us, and the number of fatalities have been decreasing by about 5% each year. Do I think there are dickhead truck drivers out there? Absolutely there is, and fortunately, they are a dying breed. And while everybody seems to be bashing them on a daily basis, I can tell you one thing with absolute certainty, the people who are the most critical of dickhead truck drivers, are other truck drivers.
@John T. I wouldn't blame the tow truck driver though 😂 that car driver should've had better judgement. Obviously the tow truck driver could've parked better (if possible)

The spotlights would be wired into the highbeam. When the car was hit from behind the high beam stalk on the column stayed still for a split second due to inertia while the car moved forward thus resulting in the high beams getting 'flashed'.
@Chrisamic @rhyswoodman6781 Interesting to see there are two plausible theories -- I hadn't actually thought about the mechanism that caused it. I think the issue with the relay theory are the crumple zones, so it's not quite like hitting the relay with a hammer. The stalk inertia theory assumes the factory highbeams didn't have time to connect whereas the LED spotlights did, which is still probably reasonable.

Love that last one! $50-80,000 worth of caravan is turned into a hard rubbish pick up. The bull bar needs $15 worth of polish to remove any sign that it happened. Another situation where a little patience and that wouldn't have happened lol.
Those caravans start at $99,500
I think the most frustrating thing is when a vehicle doesn't get hit, but they cause other vehicles to crash, and they just keep driving! 😡🤬😤
Dude at 5:34 100% could have moved over and not get hit, but he was like "nope, today's the day this dickhead buys me a new car". Low speed accident where nobody else or their property was going to get hit or injured and I honestly can't say I wouldn't have done the same.
Every truck driver ever " We can see everything that happens from up where we are " as they sit right up ya backside, also Every truck driver when it all turns to crap '' couldn't see them, they put themselves in my blind spot " lol
These truck drivers are terrible and need to re-sit their tests.
We can't see everything, but we can definitely see you trying to hide that phone in your lap while you're typing out a text message.
All correct, but as they can easily kill me without getting a scratch themselves, I just stay back. Better to be little bit later than not arrive at all, and so many truck drivers just don't care.
@@jillspence7227 _"so many truck drivers just don't care."_
You can't really throw every driver in the same bucket.

That's why I hide mine under my leg when there's a truck around 🤣
I'm kidding, just in case people think I'm serious.
Love the battle scars on the trucks roobar from the accident at the end of the video.
The best compilation in a long time. Sweet job. I am also thanking for all the bad drivers for entertainment and educational purpose.
What an incredible save by the driver of the first car!
9:50 - he sure is going to have been happy about "being a hard man without full gear" after he woke up....
5:09 If a L or P plater has 2 or more plates on each side of the vehicle you just know they are terrible drivers
3:19 "Woah, lot of brain powers, fuck, look at the brain powers" perfect description of most DCOA content
10:08 Man just really wanted to hit the GTA type jump 😂
@John T. I wouldn't blame the tow truck driver though 😂 that car driver should've had better judgement. Obviously the tow truck driver could've parked better (if possible)
I’ve never seen an accident while driving so this gives me a sneak peek into what chaos can happen on our roads 😂
You must not drive very often? Very lucky to not witness any accidents otherwise.
That last guy! Honestly, you're risking lives to be stuck behind the next truck!
From opera at 9:09 to an orgasmic "oh"
If your girl is making that sound, you might be doing it wrong. 😂
The last clip that caravan totally wasted, like I just open my IKEA package.
Another episode of the brainstrust crashing Utes and 4WDs into other road users

8:38 Giving off some 2001 A Space Odyssey vibes
what is that thing?
OMG - that last smash ended up with some very expensive kindling. I hope we all pray we don't meet one of Them tomorrow.

10:05 it’s the gta truck jump we’ve all wanted to try 😂
16:22 Whoops. You won't fix that with duct tape and clag
Here we are, 21 hours later, yet nobody has asked "what's clag?" 🤣🤣 Stinky, milky snot, in a pink tub...

Or hauling cargo. And why was the dashcam driving so bloody close??
I hope so too.
The impact was not 'that' bad, so even if there was horses in there I would think there is a reasonable chance they would be mostly ok.
@@MeppyMan They looked to be with one another
9:05 sounds like it reached its climax 😂🎉
8:09 he still checks his phone after crashing.
i think he was doing something with the centre console. That is a tesla 3 so everything is controlled by the central screen and you have to take your eye off the road. I wish car makers keep physical buttons for the basic stuff.
@@thebigsdog There's nothing you need to mess about with on the center screen while driving. I have a Model 3, and I don't do stupid shit like that driver did.
I thought these cars had sensors to stop this sort of stuff
@@rozdee1780 Like all modern cars they have automatic emergency braking. That said, no system is failproof, and AEB doesn't always prevent collisions altogether, but makes them less severe.
If you're driving fast towards a stationary car, you're still probably gonna hit it.
@@thebigsdog nope he was definitely on his phone😂his hand was lower
Some stolen cars, some absolute idiots and a lot of impatient or inattentive drivers. Great compilation.
Does NO ONE understand that pulling out across a line of stopped traffic means that you are COMPLETELY blind to, and for, the lane you are actually pulling into. FFS the one pulling out in front of a bus, WTF are you thinking.
I for one was thinking, " don't do it ", as he inched across in front of the bus.
And was trying to make a right turn across double white lines, to boot. I feel sorry for the innocent driver they collided with.
It’s called the “ suicide gap “
That last one with the caravan 😂😂

I drive six days a week for work, and when i was 18 or 19 i had a major accident, i got t boned not thinking at the time i did not have a clear view. Luckily i had no injuries, since then 12 years on, ive had two small accidents. Just be honest and do right to resolve the issue.
The morale of the video??.... Never attack a truck with a caravan...Lmao
4:52 The impact connected the spotlights for a split second. Wow.
Um, that was glint from sun..
Yes it is the spotlights. If you bump the relay hard enough you can get it to close the circuit momentarily.
The spotlights would be wired into the highbeam. When the car was hit from behind the high beam stalk on the column stayed still for a split second due to inertia while the car moved forward thus resulting in the high beams getting 'flashed'.
@@skussy69 I think it's overcast, mate.
One of the best so far
2:13 that front car must feel awful and great at the same time... its something that reeeeeealllly needed to happen to the white car driver (as a lesson)... but preferably without him getting hurt.
