I feel like the joy in this is playing some of the highest notes on a reed instrument without having to end up so breathless. This is like a fun sprano sax clarinet flute because the metal 🤣🤣🤣
I play the Tenor Sax which is fun to play but I have always wanted a portable compact light weight version of a Sax to just stroll and have fun with... FINALLY it has actually been created! I love this! I already ordered one! ^_^

If they were cheaper produced, these would definitely be a perfect alternative to recorders in 3rd grade classrooms. Nothing against the recorder, but I feel this would really get kids more interested in music.
I mean, Recorders do sound like shit compared to this, but Nowadays me would still take the Clarinet I had from school when I was 10 over both.

I can't decide between Venova and jSax and Clarineo. If I had money, I'd buy a real sax, but I'm just a beginner, so it's not worth investing that much. There are cheap and used saxes, but their quality might be bad, so I'm thinking that maybe it's better to have a new and fully functional instrument than possibly broken. But I might be wrong. Still, I haven't found any good sax offer for 100 $, so Venova and jSax seem the only choices. But Clarineo seems the best for beginner because of its wide range and lower register, which should be easier to play. I wish there was slightly more mature looking version or Clarineo because the current one seems to be targeted at children with small hands and such.
camelCased Dont get any of these "beginner" plastic instruments to try to learn. They are incredibly different. Try renting a sax if you want to play, but these won't give an accurate representation of a sax.
Well, I ended up with Clarineo. It's pretty decent. In just a day I learned to play "Fly me to the moon" :D
Now I'm looking at electronic wind instruments - those are completely different things from "real instruments" but should be easier to blow because no embouchure learning required. Of course, they are pricey, but I can build one myself using Raspberry Pi with air-speed sensor. I found some similar projects online.
Meanwhile, having lots of fun with Clarineo.
