We needed a kick in the teeth. We've been outscoring our mistakes or relying on goaltending for the last couple weeks. This is real hockey and what we can expect moving forward. That said, we did have enough chances to win the game but we also could have lost this one by 5 or 6 if it wasn't for Igor. There was no fight in the 3rd which is uncharacteristic from this group.

I'm already miffed at him for not putting in Jones instead of an injured Fox in the Conference finals, also not giving Rempe a chance to get better, put him in! Especially against this team, we need to establish a forecheck against teams that try to forecheck us. Hem them in their own zone. Lavi has lost my patience. Drury has to find us a first line Center, Mika is not it, on any other cup contending team, he would be a second line Center. He's just not that guy, ask Mess how he feels about our Center position & what it'll take to win deep in the playoffs... LGR ✌️💀💙🗽♥️🏒🥅

Zbad comment about NOT talking about the risk taking ( sloppiness) when your beating up on inferior opponents is telling ....that start was inevitable, and perhaps best that it was from the team they lost to last year ...details and lose the pond hockey mentality ...

Vally is 100% right. The Panthers are relentless. They forecheck and press the pace like crazy and the Rangers need to learn how to smother that.
It was like re living the playoffs matchup vs Panthers over again very frustrating

Rangers defense continues to be a problem.
That is a problem with all Pete’s teams of late . Get rid of him before he ruins NYR like he did the Capitals
