Sidestore was exactly what I needed. The ability to refresh the apps after 7 days WITHOUT computer or installing IPAs with the VPN is such a genius idea. now I can just relax and do my stuff with just a stable connection and the files. thank you very much for this tutorial, we owe you big time.

yes it will last forever if you refresh it before it expires. so do make sure to refresh it.

It took an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to download this dumbass app. I literally spent a whole day figuring out the iTunes thing. I should have just come to this video in the first place 😭😭 it took one try and it worked perfectly!! Bless this video for existing amongst the slew of very confusing videos that really didn’t help..

You are not supposed to use Sideserver to install ur supposed to use alt server and side store ipa
what i did is use cellular data then try click + if not work back to wifi and boom it works

yes. it's a restrictions from apple. nothing can be done. unless you are in iOS 15.6 to 16.1.2

hi, i have a problem. Some days after installing sidestore, when i launch the app it doesn’t start. In Vpn info settings, sidestore is not verified, when i press on verify app, nothing change.. how can i fix?

Ok, Sidestore is downloaded and I got one ipa to work, but since I had ALTserver previously, that counts as 1 of my 3, and Sidetore counts as the last one, is there a way to remove ALTserver without redownloading it? It wont let me have sidestore and ALT at the same time.

see. apple ID is required to sign apps if you are using a computer. there two methods where you do not require apple ID are Flekstore and signulous

you are correct. you can toggle it on when refreshing and then toggle it off. if you want apps to automatically refresh. then just keep it turned on at all times

you will not get it by default. first you have to Sideload Any ipa file. then only the option will appear in PRIVACY AND SECURITY in SETTINGS
on itunes it doesn’t let me click the block button

When I try to sign into my account in the side store app it say “ please enter the 6 digit code that was sent to your Apple device “ but nothing actually gets sent, I am using my main account that is on my iPad and iPhone and laptop. It never asked me for any codes when I used altstore, so can you help? And I tried to restart my phone and iPad but that did nothing.
may b you have turned on two factor authentication. just disable it.
When using a burner account I am not able to sign in due to me not having signed in on an ios device before with it.

i saw 7 app ids remaining, and after each refresh, it went down one. what happen if we use all of the refresh? and what happen if we forgot to refresh for 1 week?
it does not deduct after refresh. every application got one ID or more. so it will get deducted. but you could sideload only 3 apps too

most of the time nothing happens. but even the sidestore official website suggests a burner account
But it still gives you 5-8 apple id to sideload ipas, after that you need to remove some ipa to download the new ones or upgrade your account to apple developer

7:17 you said launch Altstore. Its just a altstore Copy. And alstore works fine.
can you refresh the apps on altstore with your computer switched off and not connected to same wifi? I guess no. sidestore can refresh apps even if the computer is turned off
Sidestore uses altstore fronted yes but we did lots of stuff in backend to do all we can on-device. We will also transition to a rewrite as the altstore core functionality of the app is buggy making things harder to develop for. Comes with a new ui. Also Riley approved of sidestore being an alternative. App also comes with more features than AppStore like iPad display support and the patreon features that were based on, Apple developer teams (organization and enterprise accounts), self maintained list off developer disk images (was more important before iOS 17). There’s more toggles currently like keep display on while refresh or installs. That’s all beside sidelaoding which uses a WireGuard vpn from your device it creates and makes local connection to sidestore app to talk with your idevice. There’s many more developer quality of life fixes on the code to actually make some sense from it and actually able to build it.
