As nice as these political interviews are, thank you Cotton for your time, academics and writers are more interesting to watch. Their work is more focused and, by its very nature, more thoughtful. They often work/write on off the beat topics or on current topics from a different angle. Examples being Ehrlich's Depopulation Bomb, Sowell's Economic views, and Roberts' Storm of War. A politically involved person will generally discuss what's within the political arena - a far more limited area that we're already familiar with. I'm sure this translates to the channel's viewership as content involving academics/writers seems to rack up more views. Anyway, thanks for the video.
As usual Peter did a fantastic job of conducting this interview - which I very much enjoyed. I have two comments: 1. I think Sen. Cotton should rethink his answer about the corruption at the FBI. If there is only one FBI employee who has witnessed the corruption - and has said nothing - then the ENTIRE FBI is corrupt; 2. Ronald Reagan WAS NOT a conservative. He was an anti-communist - that is a huge difference.
Sen. Cotton is certainly correct when he says that the civilian casualties in Gaza are on Hamas. But that's not the end of the story. Hamas came to power, and has remained in power in Gaza, with the overwhelming support of the inhabitants of Gaza. Large majorities of Gazans support the attacks on Israel. Many Gazan civilians took part in the atrocities with self satisfied glee. Mobs of Gazan civilians engaged in the mutilation and desecration of the bodies of innocent Israeli women as they were paraded through Gaza City. To quote John Hinderaker, "Hamas is a symptom, not a cause. The root cause of Gazans’ horrific actions is their culture, which promotes Jew-hatred above all other virtues. Unfortunately, the people of Gaza are suffused with that sick culture and, seemingly with very few exceptions, have bought into it. Calling them “civilians” doesn’t change that reality."
Help me out here. Is being Anti-Zionist without being anti-Semitic like having nothing against Palestinians but wanting them out of all Western countries?
In a time that we need a president like Tom, we are being asked to pick our poison again... I don't understand why? I'm so tired of this clown show from both sides, it's sickening.
On the contrary, poor foreign policy, reducing our military deterrence and strategic engagement abroad has always made the US border situation worse, not better. National security does not stop at the Rio Grande.
It's really crazy, like the horrible bombing campaigns of ww2 are not hugely controversial. Wonder if he is even aware that Dresden, Hiroshima, etc. Are widely seen to be atrocities. Or at least *not good examples* to use.
Excellent interview, and he's completely right.
Love these discussions-/ more!
Great discussion; Senator Cotton 👏👏👏
Again, “as goes Israel , so goes the world”. Pray for peace in Israel. Jesus is the Prince of Peace.

Hamas means evil. Evil has no moral excuse. Pray God spares the innocent. Pray for peace in Israel.
Senator Tom Cotton on UnCommon ground.
Ex discussion of Crazyman, Senator Cotton makes perfect sense. Thanks to both for this interview.

Lack of vigorous emphasis on the very consequential US border calamity continues to astonish me.
Cotton's great. When will I get to vote for him for president?
Yes I do agree, a very fine man. Would make a great president.

How about if we defend our own borders first before worrying about someone else's
Stop voting for Democrats forever and ever. Border problem will be solved in 2 seconds
How about if do what we've always done and champion freedom AROUND THE WORLD!

Useless blame is useless. Is accountability interesting? How?
Dresden just rolls off as his tongue as such a comfy example...lovely guy...will never play in the presidential stakes, too charmless and cruel.

Harvard, Harvard Law, 101st Airborne, combat officer, 3rd Infantry Old "Guard". You wish you could be as big a loser.
From Neocon hero to MAGA Icon.
Getting EU to help is a joke
