You went to La Perla. Matt tied in with the PR hittas. You went La Perla dolo is crazy. Respect it. Yes I’m familiar about La Perla because Delaware dude like you mentioned in beginning
Bro anybody can go to LA Perla .. there is 2 sides of la Perla, the right side that everyone can go and record and THE LEFT SIDE THAT IS THE PLACE THAT YOU CAN NOTTTT RECORD PERIOD
Yes, I spoke with a few people who did not want to be on camera, but really cool respectful people. And the respect is mutual. I will be going back to PR. To learn and experience more.
Yes sir Matt, I want to say thank you so much for the great video and keep on pushing and reaching, love always to you and your family 👍👍👍💪💪💪💪💯💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏
Puerto 🇵🇷 Rico is beautiful. I hope you decide to go back. Matt your from Newark Brick city nobody messing with you. I really enjoyed you giving us a tour of Puerto 🇵🇷 Rico Man food, Air BNB, the scenery off the hook 🪝 Great videos adios Matt pea ✌🏽ce
Damn. Didn't know you left already. I was looking for the place I went to when me and wife's family went to PR. It was on the opposite side of the island from Old San Juan . The name of the place was El Farol. Don't know if it's still standing or not. This was many years ago
La Perla, it is safe during the day. At night is dangerous because there are drugs alleys. Just go have a drink and nobody will mess with you. Puerto Ricans are very friendly and they make feel welcome.
the way you described the food, that was brutal . hey , there is nothing wrong with eating Mexican food in p.r. or Chinese, Brazilian or even regular fast food, you pay for it , so get whatever you are craving for. good content , enjoy your trip....
"La Perla" is a and old, poor and seedy neighborhoodof leyend. Not to say there are no good folks living there. Even a sociology book was written about it in 1967, frought with negative stereotypes that were, erroneously, interpreted to describe all Puertorricans and their culture in a bad light. It was the site of an old slaughter house in the 18th century and grew into a shanty town for slaves on the outskirts of the main city itself. Thru the centuries, it grew to accomodate farmers and others migrating to the capital from rural areas of PR.. Though it has been slowly restored and recently painted (2017) to resemble a picturesque town, it still remains an eyesore, and a den of drug traffickers, delinquents and other unsavory characters, in my opinion. It should have never been allowed to remain a slum and no man's land for decades, especially, in such a beautiful area of the Old San Juan District. The inhabitants have taken and claimed the land for themselves and created businesses, recreational areas and a whole community. The government never did anything to remove them when it was possible to do so and now they will not surrender the land. The area is coveted as prime real estate by the goverment and developers but the prospect of relocating the inhabitants of this, now infamous neighborhood, has become a political issue with class discrimina tion and gentrification undertones. No government adm. wants to address the subject or do anything about it despite social, financial and environmen tal concerns. It shall remain there indefinitely.
Grasias por otro grand video viva Puerto Rico y tu canal / thanks ❤for this great video
