And if you get music placements in films or video, you need to get a Cue Sheet from the Film or video production companies showing the usage of your song in the movie, where it comes in, the duration, etc.
You submit the Cue Sheet to the PRS societies ( BMI, ASCAP, ETC ) To get Clearance for them to collect Synch royalties for you...

For me the best video I watched and listened to today is this one. I'm so busy making all these tracks it's time to get a better picture of understanding how all this works. I got a little overwhelmed at first here but as it start sinking in and Bo lo reiterated how important these points are and it can be a good thing if you are working hard and your work grows. I have learned how to use my brand new, beautiful MPC-X. Which is clearly the best investment I've made out of all the gear i Have. So thank you for you videos and great teaching. However I'm running into a situation where as I've composed multiple sequences with using the same sounds. However i wanted to change the pitch(tune) on a few of the sounds on different tracks. However this seems to effect that very instrument or sound on all the other sequences. Is their a way to avoid this or am i doing something wrong. I'm still learning. Appreciate any feedback. What's good Bolo, truly appreciate the content and videos. I'm a Music Producer who's been producing for 17 years. I believe a year and a half ago I signed a Music Publishing deal with a Music Publishing Company called SteadyGrindMusicPublishing. I just recently gotten my first placement. At the moment I'm waiting on the Contract from the owner of the Music Publishing Company who's waiting on the Contract from the label. My question is what are some of the things I need to look for and ask for other than what's being said in the video? I understand what your saying but I also heard more information as well in regards to getting my first placement.
