Loved it mate was smiling the whole way as I did those same tracks only a couple weeks back… that part your mate slid back on on Fulton is gnarly now it’s a full chewed out rock ledge
Wow the D1 brings back memories of our old Green 3 door V8 with Ashcroft 411s jac mac lockers and axles and GQ CVs plus 37 inch Simex tyres. Rear Maxi drive axles and spline hubs. It was unstoppable in Vic and Tas. The yota and patrol guys hated it. Yours shows just how capable the old discos are. I really miss that car.
Hahaha best thing I've been told sense owning the disco. No kidding it's surprisingly capable even without lockers. Wouldn't mind at least a rear one for a leg up every now and then.
Deep Creek track is absolutely fantastic to drive at any time. Mate, you got lucky I hope you bought a Tattslotto ticket after that little slide great video.
Thanks eds, yeah I can't wait to go back when the tracks are all open. Maybe I should have bought a ticket, but then my luck was probably used up after that one
We did that river crossing at the end in March this year, we went the other direction tho. Insanely fun little exit, especially in a convoy of like 10 years. Started to get a bit wet and chewed up by the end! Great time!
Did Greg appear in a 4wd action DVD about 12 years ago, travelling as a passenger in a maverick? (Issue 167) Anyway his face looks familiar, maybe I've seen him on the tracks, maybe he's just a top bloke!

21:00 Jesus, dont stick ya bloody arm out the car like that, great way to snap your arm.
It's wet and slippery, you're headn into Deep Creek area and running AT's! Hmmm. Curious decision.
P Plate yolo, lick the stamp and send it
Tuffmk3 seriously needs to think about four-wheel-drive training very lucky boy. Ever heard of a stall stop?
Stall stop? Okay you got me, what's the trick.
