hey I just wanna say I've been watching a couple of your videos, I find them very informative and you seem to me like a very nice person too. Also, I have question - is it possible that this very tight fitting of wood and bone will give a crack into the bone inlay (outlay?) in future?
I think that such a bug humidity changes with give another problems with guitar as well - but all other places are wood to wood or wood itself...

Could you use a making gauge instead of calipers for marking, provided that the blade is sharp?
