The CD part isn't even what's damning about it, it's when he said it isn't a one time use item which obviously indicates as if you can use it over and over again.
@@Seiazen I would agree except for the fact that i read the original update log which said "Inside the AFK world you are given a 24 hour timer. As long as you are in the AFK World, this timer will go down, Once your 24 hour timer is over you are on cooldown for 24 hours until you can use another ticket.". Emphasis on "use another ticket" so its absolutely a communication issue by setro BUT it is not a scam. Being a responsible person to at least be old enough to spend real life money on a game MEANS that you have to be responsible enough to research or at the very least read, albeit roblox having a young demographic so you can still somewhat argue that setro knew that these kids wouldnt be mature and responsible.
So how is this situation being downplayed as some moment of "miscommunication" or "confusion"? There's zero margin of confusion in the original statement he made which was "Btw, World Ticket isn't a one time use it just has a 24 hour cd not sure why it says that srry". It's quite clear that this statement is essentially saying that the world ticket can be used over and over again but goes on 24 hour cooldown afterwards. This is clear insinuation that the world ticket can be re-used over and over again, otherwise, it'd obviously be questionable to why he'd even mention the part about it NOT being one time use. He's clearly trying to switch up what he "intended" to say initially and just manipulate the semantics, it'd be quite easy to just clearly say that the world ticket didn't have permanent access...

Tbh I think he just rlly didn't know how to explain how it worked, what he means by 24 hour cd is that u can go back in it multiple times AS LONG AS THE 24 HOURS AREN'T DONE. So he kept saying that its not a one time use BUT it has a 24 hour ''cd'' and by cd ig he meant till the timer ends. I doubt a dev that is trying to save a game would go the same path as the people who ruined the game before tbh. This just feels like a HUGE misunderstanding.

the npc items gives absolutely nothing, gave in like 200 legendaries for a god's prize at most AND I'm pretty sure one of the devs said that you can only get kendo or speed essences in the essence list ONLY.

Tbf, while afk world should have never been created, people who spend 1000 robux to literally sit afk are just asking to get scammed. They already dropped boss raids which easily drop true hogs and good accessories, plus tons of skill boxes and hog frags for people who are newer to the game and need that catch up, and ranked gives a ton of rerolls.

IMO the world ticket is worth it, i used it for 10 hours and got a partial essence (the essence with the most value), 6 or 7 hogyoku fragments, and like 3-4 skill boxes also premium buffs the rates by like 3x
it makes sense that it's 1 time use because the rewards are kind of insane, if it was permanent it would likely break the trading economy
if u get it through game it worth but if spend robux it not worth if did not get any essence . So yeah for u it worth but people who spend robux and get nothing it not worth
yeah I could never say that's worth 10 dollars. shit, you'll get a lot of items from it (completely RNG based so you might not get as much without premium or soulian streak), but in the end you've just paid 10 dollars for stuff that you could've gotten for free. all you've done is speed up the process of getting those items.

The fact that it took 3 days is lowkey weird it seems like a scam, he had no reason to wait that long and the fact a mod said that it was infinite makes it even worse he knows what he was doing. I feel like instead of buying or grinding over and over again you can have the CD like 2-3 days so people don't overnight grind and get hella shit. It's not foolproof but IMO it's significantly better than having to waste money over and over or waste time for a chance to get good stuff. Personally, I got extremely fortunate with the one world ticket I did buy. In my 24 hours, I got 6 skill boxes, 5 hog frags, 2 fusion essences, and 1 crazed blitz essence. On top of quite a few weapon and element rerolls, but those aren't as important as the big ticket items. However, like you said, I've seen numerous people saying that they got nothing but rerolls in that same time. So as for it being worth it? Especially now that he's clarified his miscommunication, probably not worth it to buy the thing. He's said there will be compensation for the whole debaucle, but we'll see what that entails.

Idk how hard it is to give a broad description of every item/skill, npc, quests, and location in game but if they could do that almost every issue could be fixed except balancing. People won’t even need to join the discord to rant and accuse developer of scam because the item description is literally in front of their face but instead we get a short and sweet text saying one time use but then setro said it wasn’t but now it is again so 🎉
