I actually expected Duke to win this game, but a few things of note: 1. The Champions Classic is just a testing ground as of November 2021 so a lot can happen over 17 weeks (before Selection Sunday). 2. Kentucky, which has been a rebounding reliant team under ex-Kansas assistant (under both Ted Owens/Larry Brown) John Calipari, out-rebounded Duke despite Banchero/Williams size and length. 3. Gonzaga, like the last time both schools met (November 2018), could seize on Duke’s 1/13 performance from three by zoning or laying off of them.
UK mainly out rebounded Duke due to the Orebs in the first. Once that dried up, UK pretty much had NOTHING. If Gonzaga does do that. I doubt Duke falls behind like they did in 18. A faster start could help, especially considering they outplayed the Zags in the 2nd.
Why have a jump ball if you're going to throw it to one of the teams....... john calipari got outcoached yet again.......duke is going to have to rely heavily on their 5 best players because they dont have much after that......kentucky has some experienced players, but they are gonna need time to gel...... both these teams will be tough outs in the ncaat obviously
You have Jay Bilias the Duke Critic and the Duke Hater calling the game. As Unprofessional as they are college Basketball still have these two calling games. Why do those of us who came see through their political game have to sit and watch as they dirty up the game of College Basketball? Why?
Jay stay away from football because you have no clue what you’re talking about. In an effort to try and education you in football it’s about strength of schedule. That means who you and Cincinnati has played anybody.
