All these laserdisc games were so amazing to me as a kid. Walking into the arcade and seeing real people in video games in film like quality. I thought that was as good as it gets then. Funny thing is.. I'd take this over most of the 3D games now. These games had heart and they put a lot into them. Take me back!
The portion after 1:45, every time someone falls on the left side you can see the cushions they land on pop up. Top notch acting too. You have to appreciate how much time it takes to make one of these games. It looks cheap or shoddy by the standards of today but there was a time when this was cutting edge, revolutionary gaming.
I gotta admit, I felt kind of sad when female pirates got shot and killed but the player has no choice but to kill them to protect the innocent colonists and to avoid being killed themselves.
It's hilarious that this game is so cheesy! But that's what makes the game good! I can't help but laugh at the overly dramatic deaths! Does this work sorta like the NES Zapper?
Everyone's Favorite Pig It didwork a lot like the NES Zapper. If you had a Cathode Ray Tube Television, light guns like the NES Zapper work. Sadly, with the proliferation of HD TVs and displays are not compatible with that hardware. Sadly I had to use a mouse when capturing it.
Tbh tho in theory it sounds more fun but I remember launching my consoles across the room cuz of the horrible tracking from the guns. The CD-I was the absolute worst. The PS Move controls werent perfect but showed it can be done in the new age of tech.
Absolutely. The final sequences against the ship has incredibly finicky hit boxes which makes it extra hard to determine if you are on target or not. The other little riddles and such they put in there aren't too bad, but if you are in a loud arcade I would think it impossible to figure out.
@@BogusMeatFactory I think what got me is that in comparison to other American Lasergames this is one of the trickier ones. I had played through a few titles and enjoyed the acting and set pieces and i was used to just breezing through them at worst replaying a section here and there a few times. Crime Patrol is the one that got me into these series of games. But this one when you fail you have to redo so much, no joke i looked up this video because i kept failing at "shoot him x times before he laughs" and what broke me was even when i kept count and made sure to not shoot too much the game still counted it as a failure. Maybe i shot too fast or to slow or some minor thing who knows. The game wont tell you that's for sure :D

Fista Productions There is charm to the cheese and I am so happy to see modern games using fmv in ways that make sense and give nods to the old days!
0:54 - truly epic acting

Just a pile of bodies over there.
Great game. Never saw the ending until now. Thanks for posting!
This game is the reason I joined space force.
Somehow this gets more psychotic the longer it goes on.
I have a 3do and the light gun and all of the fmv games I love it very fun to play thanks for the very awesome video.

Takes the fun out of it, huh?

Best one was the Sega CD gun but the picture was so horrible you'd get the same effect from shooting darts at a painting lol
The most hilarious ALG scene to me is in Drug Wars when u save the judge in the court room "Phew thanks........guilty"
damn it was pretty long game, had stuck over the third scene back then, worth its money
GET TALON!!!
Nobody saw the mistake at 3:23??
This game somehow manages to be too easy and at the same time it can be way too frustrating to find out just what it is you are doing wrong.
