    Wow! Its so much there rhat reminds me of myself and my own collection. I see your interrests when you were a kid mirror the interrests i had as a kid and still as adults. Id probably love having you as a friend back in early 80’s

      Thanks Chris, that is fun to hear. There are so many of us that grew up on these same toys and after school cartoons in the 80s. Glad you enjoyed the video. If you're ever in the Boston area, hit me up!

    Glad to finally see an example of displaying the Marvel Kenner line! I’ve just begun to collect them and can’t find any examples anywhere on displaying them out of packaging! They look look great brother along with the other areas of your collection. You have a new sub now.

      Thanks Noah, appreciate the comment and sub! The idea of the high rise Baxter building just came to me when I saw it at the second hand store. I think it works well for the loose display!

    Love the vintage snow speeder, never owned my own, always played with a friend’s. The two Transformers are probably too of them beat from the G1 era as well. I am few years older and fell out of collecting Star Wars when a couple of kids in third grade made fun of us for bringing Star Wars toys to the playground (I was in 2nd grade at the time, still a year before ROTJ). They had GI Joes, and they moved a heck of a lot more. I got hooked on Joes. To the extent that I never had any He Man toys, only two or three transformers, and only had a couple figures from the last 17 of Star Wars. I beat the crap out of my Star Wars stuff (and other kids that I played with did as well). And when we moved back from FL to NY I lost a lot of it in the move. So once I hit up Joes, I took much better care of em, probably helped that I was older as well. I never really took em outside unless I was playing with a kid who I knew would be as careful with them as I was. Unfortunately I sold em to a kid just a grade below me in high school. Not sure what he did them, as he was into the hair metal scene and playing guitar , but he got a good deal on a large portion of 82 to 86 figures, vehicles, and playsets, and I got a whopping two hundred bucks for a new set of winter tires for my first of many beater cars. In the early two thousands I started collecting Joes again from EBay. Was not too bad then. Not much sniping at the end of auctions and prices were decent. Pretty cool that you were able to save some of your very own childhood memory makers.

      @RedWagonDioramas  Год назад

      Thanks for sharing Chris! Sound like you and I were probably around the same age. I too left my Kenner Star Wars behind once I saw how articulated the joes were. Thankfully I was able to hold onto quite a bit of my figures and vehicles. Wish I had kept everything, but I did sell some of the larger joe vehicles in high school. Anyway, glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the awesome comment!

      Thanks Michael! I bought the lights at Costco a few years ago 2021?. They are Artika brand, thin LED lights with motion sensors for under cabinet lighting. They daisy chain together which is really nice, and they have a thin profile. Can't find the exact product for sale anywhere now though. Found one on ebay.
