To what Megan said!! “Where did these people go after the conference?” I literally changed my home church. I was already praying about this with my Husband!! I’m in a Bible teaching church now!! Acts242 was a blaring confirming alarm it was time to step into the calling in my life! That was a very pivotal time, you had to be at that conference to understand! It was a launching pad for a lot of us im sure, for the Kingdom!!!
I'm like Dr. Mason, still processing the conference. I will never forget that experience. I live overseas so I am still lacking local community. As a babe (only 8 months saved) the conference did train my ear to sound, biblical doctrine so I'm leaning on that and I've joined online communities. Still in awe of what God did in those 2 days.
The need for discernment through reading the word and true discipleship is so needed. I am so grateful 🙏🏽 for social media, if not only for it, being a tool for the Gospel of Jesus Christ 🙌🏾 to be heard by every ear until all have heard. As a 44-year-old woman from Boston who may never have believed until by Gods mercy and Grace that through faith I too could be saved. I now, after 2yrs of reading the Bible alone, silence the voice of society & listen to other seasoned wise voices of the Truth. I thank you and send blessings from Boston.
These are the type of conversations, the type of friends, the type of Bible Study that I desire❤. Where we can talk for hourssssss about God and how His word applies to our lives.
Meg lit it up! Righteously. I have been there! “You’re gaining knowledge to debate… not to know ME” I wept and felt I could melt! Just didn’t see it. God is good yall.
“We got a whole bunch of content creators using their intimacy for content.” Yea…let me go run real quick🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️SHEESH MEGAN!!!!!!!!
Me and my boyfriend attend Acts 242 it was amazing. God was very much present. It was life changing, lit a fire in so many people. I can testify that we both have taken our walk with Christ to a different level. We both have a church home but the conference helped us to further our faith for the better. Thank you all for your obedience and not giving up because of the spiritual warfare.
This ministers to me so much. I am looking for a healthy Bible teaching church in Southern California but for now I’m reading my word and listening to sound teaching like this and Pastor Phillip Mitchell
If you’re close to Pasadena, CA, I’d love to connect! We’re planting a church in that area very soon with an emphasis on biblical teaching in the urban context.
If you in Southern California you'd be better off joining an Orthodox Church. They have better understanding of scripture and doctrine and their Catechumens Course will change your life. Leave the shallow and superficial Penticostal charismatic 😊. Just thought to share. Pray about it maybe
I'm from the UK. I love the mix of generation coming through the pod I think it's refreshing and much needed. I do think the 'find your local church community' has been a clear message coming through the pods by Meg, The Perrys and 242 and us listeners are now taking this and applying. I've got quite a big church in my area, rebuilt with a lot of funding but I have been weary. Little did I know their is a perfect small church just around the corner which one day when starving I prayed and went for a walk and found my accident..outside was a loaf of bread. No people just food for those in case of need. I'd been recently new in my word after several small signs to come back to my faith (I was christened but my parents atheist? work that one out)
I pray you all could do another conference in MD, NJ or Philly!! 7000 young people & young adults - Praise the Lord! I would love to go with my daughter, god daughters and nephews!! Love you all!♥️🙏🏾
Dr. Mason hit it on the head when he said ,"alot of people said, I knew I was not crazy..." I didn't even go but I wanted to be there. In my head though I was like I knew I wasn't crazy. The conference gave me hope from a distance. I believe I'll run on...
So I think we gonna need a part 2 with Megan to finish talking about the rest of the chapter! And ANY other chapters of the Bible too 😂 im just saying… this was so good!
1:09:11 Megan!!!!! I asked the Lord the same thing about my mother. I felt the same way. My mother walked out her faith and then cancer took her in 2020. She never asked why. That was the lesson I had to learn. It took me a few years to understand that. Also, I’ll never forget Acts 2:42. It changed my life and you are correct, it gave me different ears.
Megan is so passionate. And it's such a breath of fresh air. When she speaks about reasonable service and having reverence for God, yoh, my heart cried. Because we should be this passionate and serious about God and His Word. We should be giving our whole selves as a living sacrifice to the Lord... It's legit the least we can do considering all that He did on that cross for us. Shu, thank you. I needed to see this. I am convicted yall
Dr Eric Mason that is so true! I knew I wasn't crazy!! For 11 years I was in a church that specifically taught God complex theology because God live in me I can.... then my husband I transitioned to an evangelical church with fundamental doctrine but lack spirit. I supplement it with 2819 church, you, the perry's john bevere prior to the conference was announced. I know i need more but when the conference happened I knew I wasn't crazy.
Miss. Brooks DID NOT COME TO PLAY!!! This is it. I rededicated my life to Christ on my own and came back to Him on my own and I haven't been in a church for over 6 years. Maybe more or less time. But I NEED to find a church and get back to fellowship. That part of this podcast was for me.
Being “On Fire” or “Sold out” is such a foreign concept. I remember being on campus and sharing my faith with everyone and CHH was matching what we were doing. Although in terms of conferences and organizations I don’t know if anyone has done more than The Impact Movement. It’s rare you see a sound blk Christian leader that doesn’t have ties to Impact.
You can’t have Faith without Hope because Hope is an ingredient of Faith. Hope is the visionary picture of change that you see but aren’t yet experiencing. Faith helps you to get there but Hope helps you to see it.
This is such a TREAT!!!! I was hoping to see more of Dr. MASON!!!!! Thank you Jesus! I hope Acts 242 showed you there is an entire audience in this podcast world hungry for the knowledge you hold! ❤
Hello Dr.Eric Mason I just want to start of by saying this has brought great joy and great movement within my heart and spirit that you started a podcast and that this conversation has came about I am currently attending a secular university for graduate school and it is difficult to be in rooms when my eyes have been spiritually open by the lord I talk about the lord so much within my cohort and within the girls mentoring program I am apart of I really want to be mentored because I want to be able to lead my generation and lead those who are in need in the lord I would to be apart of a mentorship it is a bit hard time find in the suburbs of Chicago but i am hungry for the lord and im hungry for the mission at hand of what God is wanting me to do the lord wants me to lead and he’s preparing me for that very role but I would also like guidance to be able to lead properly and not lead in away where I am looked at as a false prophet
49:40 - Oh my goodness, I’ve been fasting this month, and every day I’ve been reading a different translation of Romans 12 1-2 and meditating on it, so hearing this is wild to me! I need to read the whole chapter again.
We were so desperate and sooo hungry for soild doctrine … I could feel that in the air, I came all the way from Alaska just to try and find that faith family feeling! I would love to find a way to reconnect with people even if we never have another ACTS 242 then I still need that kind of support again ♥️
Whewwwwww this was so good.🗣️🗣️To God Be the Glory 🙌🏾🙌🏾… my Lord you are so Beautiful Marvelous all the things . I feel humbled to my core. Woe is me to even experience your presence. I’m not worthy of your Goodness Jesus but I thank you 😌
That there Paster Vern! People wouldn’t have done any different if they were in the garden. You can’t resist eating the donuts that they bring into the office lunchroom but you could’ve resisted eating from the tree of knowledge??? Man, PLEASE!!
@ LOL yeah I get that. There’s a lot of awareness being brought to these large companies that own everything and do not have our health or best interest in mind. I think that’s where he was going with it. But it is overwhelming information and probably needs to be broken down better 😃
I really relate to what Megan said about the criticism regarding how she shows up to places. I don’t face much criticism, but definitely self conscious about how I present when it comes to talking about my faith and the Word of God. Studying Romans recently as well, just heard a message on Romans 12:1-2….considering how God loved us and saved us and what is our REASONABLE SERVICE and our SPIRITUAL WORSHIP….He is seeking those who will worship Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH. I know how He rescued me! Amen, really enjoyed this conversation. Also, please create that app or resource. I thought of something similar several years ago and wasn’t taken seriously and was discouraged from pursuing it, but please use your resources and networks to make it happen. The people need access to the truth and sound doctrine and real discipleship. Amen.
"Grace is about the ability to do something. Not only the ability to do it, but to put up with the mess that comes with it. I’m a believer that is having such a tough time finding a good church in Los Angeles. I know I need community and have been praying about it but it’s hard here. I’m a 2819 digital disciple but I know I need a local church. Any suggestions? I’m tired of the counterfeits. It’s so disheartening.

Waittt what is considered healthy lamenting ?! 😩 I’m learning so much I’m finna pull up to Epiphany 😂 I got mad questions I’m sure the way I’m lamenting is incorrect 😂
I’d like to add some conversation around the “how does this generation experience and understand that salvation requires seriousness?” In all honesty, I feel like many don’t understand that this call to discipleship and sanctification is a privilege. God is merciful yes, but we CANNOT use mercy as a means to sin and sin and sin, as if God doesn’t introduce consequences to sin. This call IS serious. That means we need to honor and respect God , not play in His face as if He owes any of us something. It seems like many are not taking His word seriously and that’s why it’s so easy for sin to continue in their life. That’s where relationship with the Father comes in because there’s no way you can be growing a healthy relationship with Him, yet you refuse to follow His instructions. Does that mean perfect? Of course not, but we shouldn’t be playing in His face as if it’s okay.
To what Megan said!! “Where did these people go after the conference?” I literally changed my home church. I was already praying about this with my Husband!! I’m in a Bible teaching church now!! This podcast just open my eyes on a new level. Roman 12 I’m about to go deep into this even further
