@@chopito I was thinking in a Renault 9, but It's true, its a 18. The R-11 was a fastback.
Amazing footage, nicely edited. The crash at around 5:25 could have been far worse, with the steel fencing poles going through the windscreen and narrowly missing driver and co-driver. Wishing everyone a safe and fun-filled holiday season. Cheers!
Both the cage and the fence did their job. The cage deflected the fence bar away from the codriver and the fence bars kept the car from dropping off the ledge into the water.
Number 4 comes straight from an horror movie.
Agreed. And I wonder what went wrong. Did the co-driver make a mistake? Communication error? This should not happen with good pace notes and an understood co-driver.
I know...the blue pipes through the body OR the drowning. Nightmares. The only thing worse in this compilation is the demolition of the beautiful 911 RS.

Just to be that one guy and point it out, there's a mistake in editing as to where you put the wrong names on the screen right before top 3 crash (5:36). Otherwise good video and I admit that I mostly agree wth your choices.

seeing the driver of the second to last crash grab his passengers leg like that after they crashed really just goes to show you how much the driver cares about their co drivers safety over theirs, i mean it was only a fraction of a second, im prettty sure he already had his hand on his leg apologizing before they even fully stopped from the crash.

También se Encuentra el Fiat regatta, el Fiat 147 y muchos Fiat 128 y acá tenemos un rally de la zona que se llama "la vuelta de la manzana", nuestra zona es exportadora de frutas y en especial la manzana. Saludos y excelente vídeo!

that first crash couldve ended pretty badly for the drivers.. check the logs unnderneath the car.. luckily it didnt pierce the chasis

Wow it’s Thursday and I always look forward to seeing my weekly dose of rally crash is from CHOPITO. These were all vicious crashes. I’m going to say my top three. I think the first one is at 5:48 the next one is at 6:50 and then at the end at 7:43. Those guys went off a mountain.

bro that crash where the steel pole went through the windshield of the car is EXACTLY why they replaced railings like that on major highways with the concrete shoulders, because SOO many people were being impaled by them..... SUCH a scary accident to watch from that point of view, glad they made it out alive.
You are absolutely right, fortunately everything was a big scare. In Europe there are still many areas where there are these types of railings, especially in rural areas, which is where these races are held
