I compared the SQ5 with the BMW X3 M40I back in 2018 before I made my purchase. The Audi did not drive badly, but there was something missing. It lacked the personality which the Bimmer exuded; it's exhaust was a tad huskier than the Audi and the handling of the sport SAV (yeah, I know it's just a meaningless acronym) had it all over the SQ5. The BMW cost a few thousand $ more, but WTH, you only live once and should get what you want. The X3 M40I has been reliable with no unexpected giant repair bills; just GTO and regular maintenance (knock on wood). Other vloggers have agreed with me, and I think I made the right decision.
I compared both of those to the Genesis GV70 3.5T before purchase and outside of pure performance, it was head n shoulders above both in every category and above Audi in performance. So I went with 2024 GV70 and safe to say, I made the right choice 😊
@JGisMe2013 No argument from me. The GV 70 3.5 twin turbo is an awesome vehicle. If it had been available when I bought my 2018 X4 M40i, I might have jumped for it instead.

nothing wrong with keeping what’s good. I swapped an 18 to a 24 and it looks the same but feels a lot more refined (ie. quiet)
