I'm of Irish descent and had the opportunity to visit Ireland many years ago. The typical Irish singing group uses this blend of instruments. This song evoked many cherished memories as well as an encouragement to keep running the race set before us - the children of the Promise!

They are still in evangelistic ministry during the school year throughout the US and then spend their summers ministering with Gospel Grace Church in SLC. This is their last year traveling on the road, and then they will be full-time in SLC. :)
For those concerned about the shots of the LDS church in the video, according to the website the Galkin team has a special burden for outreach to Mormons. And it would be a BIG stretch from them to go from being a part of Steve Pettit's team to Mormon. May the Lord bless them as they seek to reach those steeped in error with the truth of God's Word. One thing though... real mandolin players don't use capos. What do you think it is, a banjo?? ;-)
Indeed, as a matter of fact I know the pastor who worked with this evangelistic team for the purpose of Mormon outreach. Lucas Counterman is his name, and he relatively recently moved from Texas to salt lake city to start a church, and this song was on one of the albums he was selling to raise money. I have a copy :)

One thing I would never do in a video is show the Mormon Tabernacle like they did here, because I was thinking that they were Mormons myself, as Pancho Dyck thought so. But what got me nervous was that I plastered this all over my FB page and timeline, and some others' timelines, THEN as I did so, the Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City appeared, and one Mennonite friend of mine, who liked their version of the song, was one of the recipients of my posting it on his FB Wall. I'd like to know more about these brothers.

Knowing Steve Pettit for many years, I was horrified when I saw the video until I read the comments. I think a ministry to Mormons is wonderful; I hope people don't mistakenly believe the reference to the church with a visual of the Mormon temple is condoning Mormonism as this a very grave error.
