True. Because time will make you temporary forget your pain... But the time you reminisce it or be reminded by it and the person who did it to you... All those forgotten emotions (pain, hurt, sadness, and anger) will come back then you'll start to get emotional and start crying. In the manga, she was the one who declared from that point on she would show no emotions. Lloyd told her she didn't have to go that far but she did because she wanted to follow her senpai's teaching to a t. I think Lloyd just meant in missions, not everyday life.

And the cause of that is because of the operation. But, we will find out when he "does not" need Yor anymore. Will Loid show his weakness to the one he loves? Or will he keep his weakness for the sake of world peace? He should realise he is showing weakness, that is if the show takes a different point like Yor is in trouble or something. That kind of rule can never be followed once your heart speaks. Spy or not, you just can't ignore LOVE. Twilight, Loid and Yor are the best examples. Definitely Yor plans to not get involved with such emotions as she is an assassin -she kills. But it is obvious Yor has feelings for Loid and vice versa. Twilight is even vulnerable to the feeling. Putting the comedy and Anya’s shenanigans aside, it’s actually heartwarming to watch Twilight, the spy who has no identity or emotion, slowly becoming “human” again because of Yor and Anya. He’s going to say “it’s for the mission” till the very end, but once this mission ends, he wouldn’t want to let go of ‘Loid Forger’.

I felt bad for her until she tried to break Yor and Loid up and make Yor look and feel bad. Just because you have a crush on someone doesn't mean they're yours, and you shouldn't throw that frustration out at another person or treat them badly because of your feelings. Also he has his mission and acting like that puts it at risk. I hope she finds someone who loves her back, cause she deserves to be happy too.

The key to a master act is to sprinkle it with some genuine feelings. Loid is not at the point where he's falling in love with Yor and Anya (yet) but he's starting to involve himself more than he really needs to. Our man's gonna start slipping soon. It's kinda sad and unfair, because he's gonna fall for the same thing he told Nightfall not to fall for.

If we analyze Nightfall's perspective a bit we can clearly see that her idea of love/romance for Twilight/Loid are actually projections of her own desires on a person i.e. Twilight who fits perfectly It's an idealized fantasy. According to Nightfall logic, she will prove that she is perfect, to the extent of being the only woman worthy to be at Twilight's side. She has been his student and comrade on missions, so she has been by his side, has examined multiple roles, memorizing his exemplary 'fake smile'. Nightfall loves TWILIGHT, the perfect spy, the man of a thousand faces, a professional in the art of espionage who foresees a thousand scenarios in his head long before they happen. The initial Twilight (her teacher) is a cold, distant man who is not interested in having a relationship because he has discarded that kind of personal happiness, much less would he do so with a WISE colleague. Twilight is someone with many emotional conflicts, due to the barriers he has created for himself because of his own past. Nightfall wants to awaken those buried feelings while pushing the distant Twilight to love, and who has always told him to isolate himself from his own personal desires and feelings. So… Nightfall's love for her master may be genuine and born out of her genuine admiration for Twilight's motivation to create a better world. But it is unsustainable when it comes to building that love into a marriage, because the Twilight that Nightfall dreams of doesn't really exist, rendering her efforts to impress him futile. After all, this is not what Twilight is really looking for (at least, his true self). Nightfall's biggest drawback is that she is so focused on what she wants and what she thinks Twilight needs that she is not able to see the emotional needs that her master has (although, being fair… He doesn't know either, right?). The funny thing about Nightfall's love is the huge contrast to Loid (Twilight) and Yor's real relationship. She is constantly looking for perfection in Loid /Twilight's actions, forgotten that there is only a tired man with stomach aches from his ulcers. The difference for Yor, is that she is not expecting greatness in Loid, or if she really dreams that he is an ideal man she is looking for. He is perfect, just the way he is. Twilight and Yor may not be very intimate for many, because of the lack of physical closeness between them, but the admiration and respect they have.. THAT'S TRUE LOVE

In the manga this moment was rlly important imo for Lodi’s character, as Nightfall realizes that even tho it’s his normal fake smile that he does, there’s a hint of real emotion there, and that’s so touching for us, but also so heartbreaking for Nightfall
It’s sad but Fiona hurt her own feelings. Loid’s never once expressed interests in her nor has she shown interest in him either; he isn’t even aware of her true motives bc her reasoning for things always relate to the mission without sharing her feelings. The double edge sword to that is she’s abiding by what he taught her but still. Loid has no interest in her and doesn’t owe her anything, especially after all the underhanded jabs she tries to take at Yor to force her out of her role as wife. Even with him not having genuine feelings for Yor (something he doesn’t fully realize he actually does have yet) he only found Fiona’s behavior and insistence off putting. A broken heart is always sad but it’s not Loid’s problem or responsibility to fix it and trying to force Yor out of the picture wasn’t the solution either. It’s sad Fiona has a broken heart but that’s on her 100%.

Here’s my opinion. I feel sad for Nightfall because her crush doesn’t like her, or at least she doesn’t think so. And tbh I would have a crush on Loid, if I was her too. But one thing she did wrong was trying to be better than Yor, and trying to overpower her so badly that Yor would step down and she could be Loid’s “wife”. Yor feels that Nightfall is way better than her, so she tries to keep being Loid’s wife at her best because her assassin job might get exposed. And overall Nightfall tries to verbally and physically crush Yor to forfeit the wife role to her, and has dreams of Loid loving her and her “making Anya study” to be the best for Operation Strix. The fact that Yor is bringing out such a genuine change in Loid when they're not even really in a relationship speaks volumes. If she can do that much when they're not together, imagine how much she could do when they inevitably do get together for real.
For y’all arguing in the comments about Twilight and Nightfall and how Twilight isn’t showing real emotions for Anya and Yor…please stop b/c you’re wrong. This clip clearly shows that Nightfall was heartbroken not b/c Twilight was smiling, it’s b/c that was literally the first time she has seen Twilight smile and there was a little bit of genuine emotion and ease of comfort behind it something he DOESNT DO EVER. She’s the 2nd best spy in the series who has watched her mentor for such a long time. Twilight has played many roles as a boyfriend, lover, etc. although it’s not confirmed or anything but if Nightfall has watched Twilight closely like she’s said she has, she knows that his fake expressions and emotions would work on anyone except truly expert spies (even Yuri hasnt found out and he’s one of the best investigators in the series). If Nightfall couldnt differentiate b/w Nightfalls fake expressions and emotions and even his relaxed mannerisms, then she would probably have a more “annoying” relationship with Twilight. Nightfall probably has never felt threatened by any other woman Twilight has been with b/c no mission has ever thrown him off his game until Anya and Yor came into the picture. I can definitely also argue that his genuine feelings are not just for the sake of the mission either. It’s harder to fool Anya yes b/c she can read minds, but that honestly hasn’t really stopped him from anything mainly b/c Anya keeps her powers a secret. Twilight has stated that both Anya and Yor throws him off his game. Anya throws him off b/c she’s truly unpredictable and is a child (which is impossible to control fully) and Yor also has her unpredictabilities that he doesn’t understand. Also he said with Yor that was the longest he’s even been relaxed around someone other than his mom and the longest he’s been knocked out since his teacher knocked him out in the past. The fact that not only was he knocked out for that long, he was relaxed on Yor’s lap. He admitted himself that is not natural regardless of any circumstance or situation. That means he’s only relaxed around Yor/his family, and he doesnt know why. Yes he got knocked out but if you’ve seen HxH greed island arc with Gon and Killua, it wouldn’t be farfetched for an anime to adapt that same type of skill where Gon and Killua were sleeping but also aware of their surroundings and senses to be ready at a moments notice. Also Twilight has still been able to fool everyone he needs to even when his natural emotions don’t show. Just b/c he has slightly fell off his game due to operation Strix, that doesn’t mean that Anya and Yor can see through the bs easily and start to get suspicious. Anya cant even do that unless Twilight is literally thinking about Operation Strix when he’s talking to her. Whenever he gives Anya support, or giving her what she wants, he isn’t always thinking about the mission in a calculated way, b/c if that was the case, he would’ve failed by now. Lastly, if you’re thinking that Twilight cares more about the family dynamic instead of Yor, then you have a very different outlook on what “family” looks like. Yor is apart of the family, so she would eventually be someone he loves. The romantic feelings would naturally grow overtime as well. However, just like every real and genuine relationship, Twilight and Yor would have to start basically from the beginning. Rn they’re barely what you’d consider good friends. Let’s get that out of the way first sheesh. Where does Yor play a picture in “real family” is that she wants the same thing Twilight wants. But he can't, 'cause the longer he lives with Yor and Anya. He somehow realized that he actually cared for them. And when in the episode where the guy made Anya cry during the interview, Loid couldn't control himself and tried to punch the guy who made Anya cry. I recommend you watch "Gamers" anime... School life and funny / commedy as hell but second it hits it will make your heart break in pieces without any sound .... TBH, i almost cried on this part. The thought of silently loving someone you have no chance to be with is extremely devastating. It was so relatable. When I was 14 I played a game, where I got one friend and I told him to be connected with me on any social media. He agree it and he told me that we call other friends too to chat with us freely on social media. I agree it. Then we used to talk daily we make fun of each other's and had a very good time with each other. but then he told me that I want girlfriend can you please help me to find at that time I don't have any interest in love but when he said that I felt little sad. When he got girlfriend he told it to me , I congratulate him but than I felt so sad and my eyes were flowing tears at that time I realised I had my first crush but didn't even know about that and now I can't do anything 💔

She has been his student and comrade on missions, so she has been by his side, has examined multiple roles, memorizing his exemplary 'fake smile'. Nightfall loves TWILIGHT, the perfect spy, the man of a thousand faces, a professional in the art of espionage who foresees a thousand scenarios in his head long before they happen.
The initial Twilight (her teacher) is a cold, distant man who is not interested in having a relationship because he has discarded that kind of personal happiness, much less would he do so with a WISE colleague.
Twilight is someone with many emotional conflicts, due to the barriers he has created for himself because of his own past. Nightfall wants to awaken those buried feelings while pushing the distant Twilight to love, and who has always told him to isolate himself from his own personal desires and feelings.
So… Nightfall's love for her master may be genuine and born out of her genuine admiration for Twilight's motivation to create a better world. But it is unsustainable when it comes to building that love into a marriage, because the Twilight that Nightfall dreams of doesn't really exist, rendering her efforts to impress him futile.
After all, this is not what Twilight is really looking for (at least, his true self).
Nightfall's biggest drawback is that she is so focused on what she wants and what she thinks Twilight needs that she is not able to see the emotional needs that her master has (although, being fair… He doesn't know either, right?). The funny thing about Nightfall's love is the huge contrast to Loid (Twilight) and Yor's real relationship. She is constantly looking for perfection in Loid /Twilight's actions, forgotten that there is only a tired man with stomach aches from his ulcers.
The difference for Yor, is that she is not expecting greatness in Loid, or if she really dreams that he is an ideal man she is looking for. He is perfect, just the way he is. Twilight and Yor may not be very intimate for many, because of the lack of physical closeness between them, but the admiration and respect they have.. THAT'S TRUE LOVE

Loid has no interest in her and doesn’t owe her anything, especially after all the underhanded jabs she tries to take at Yor to force her out of her role as wife. The fact that Yor is bringing out such a genuine change in Loid when they're not even really in a relationship speaks volumes. If she can do that much when they're not together, imagine how much she could do when they inevitably do get together for real.
For y’all arguing in the comments about Twilight and Nightfall and how Twilight isn’t showing real emotions for Anya and Yor…please stop b/c you’re wrong. This clip clearly shows that Nightfall was heartbroken not b/c Twilight was smiling, it’s b/c that was literally the first time she has seen Twilight smile and there was a little bit of genuine emotion and ease of comfort behind it something he DOESNT DO EVER. She’s the 2nd best spy in the series who has watched her mentor for such a long time. Twilight has played many roles as a boyfriend, lover, etc. although it’s not confirmed or anything but if Nightfall has watched Twilight closely like she’s said she has, she knows that his fake expressions and emotions would work on anyone except truly expert spies (even Yuri hasnt found out and he’s one of the best investigators in the series). If Nightfall couldnt differentiate b/w Nightfalls fake expressions and emotions and even his relaxed mannerisms, then she would probably have a more “annoying” relationship with Twilight. Nightfall probably has never felt threatened by any other woman Twilight has been with b/c no mission has ever thrown him off his game until Anya and Yor came into the picture.
I can definitely also argue that his genuine feelings are not just for the sake of the mission either. It’s harder to fool Anya yes b/c she can read minds, but that honestly hasn’t really stopped him from anything mainly b/c Anya keeps her powers a secret. Twilight has stated that both Anya and Yor throws him off his game. Anya throws him off b/c she’s truly unpredictable and is a child (which is impossible to control fully) and Yor also has her unpredictabilities that he doesn’t understand. Also he said with Yor that was the longest he’s even been relaxed around someone other than his mom and the longest he’s been knocked out since his teacher knocked him out in the past. The fact that not only was he knocked out for that long, he was relaxed on Yor’s lap. He admitted himself that is not natural regardless of any circumstance or situation. That means he’s only relaxed around Yor/his family, and he doesnt know why. Yes he got knocked out but if you’ve seen HxH greed island arc with Gon and Killua, it wouldn’t be farfetched for an anime to adapt that same type of skill where Gon and Killua were sleeping but also aware of their surroundings and senses to be ready at a moments notice. Also Twilight has still been able to fool everyone he needs to even when his natural emotions don’t show. Just b/c he has slightly fell off his game due to operation Strix, that doesn’t mean that Anya and Yor can see through the bs easily and start to get suspicious. Anya cant even do that unless Twilight is literally thinking about Operation Strix when he’s talking to her. Whenever he gives Anya support, or giving her what she wants, he isn’t always thinking about the mission in a calculated way, b/c if that was the case, he would’ve failed by now.
Lastly, if you’re thinking that Twilight cares more about the family dynamic instead of Yor, then you have a very different outlook on what “family” looks like. Yor is apart of the family, so she would eventually be someone he loves. The romantic feelings would naturally grow overtime as well. However, just like every real and genuine relationship, Twilight and Yor would have to start basically from the beginning. Rn they’re barely what you’d consider good friends. Let’s get that out of the way first sheesh. Where does Yor play a picture in “real family” is that she wants the same thing Twilight wants. However, Twilight actively suppresses his yearning for a family for the sake of others and Yor has finally embraced her feelings of not wanting to get rid of the fake family she has b/c she’s attached to them and is willing to fight for it. it’s bigger than her covering up her job as an assassin at this point. Ironically, Twilight is kind of having his cake and eating it too. The mission is perfect where he gets to experience what it’s like to have genuine love and care from others, gets to have a family that he never thought would be possible with his profession, all while still getting his job done as a spy. No matter how much of a burden he would think having a family would be on him. He loved the idea of family and love and would sacrifice his own personal wants for that, for the sake of others to have it. Now he might have a little taste of what it’s like to have a family, something he thought was impossible for him to have based off his profession.
It’s awesome seeing Twilight and Yor’s relationship b/c the first barrier they have to cross together is being legit regular humans first, which both are doing. Then just as natural as thar has been inch by inch, their relationship is growing as well. Idk why people cant see that.

But he can't, 'cause the longer he lives with Yor and Anya. He somehow realized that he actually cared for them. And when in the episode where the guy made Anya cry during the interview, Loid couldn't control himself and tried to punch the guy who made Anya cry. Because he doesn't want Anya to be unhappy just like him when he was a kid.🙄
