If theres one thing in life I want to achieve, that one thing would be living in a snowy forest, away from the anxious world and away in a nice and cozy cabin with a fire burning, while its snowing outside, that would be nice and relaxing.
That was also my goal in life and last year I managed to achieve it . Now I have a nice cozy house in the mountains of my country, surrounded by the forest. Despite the common belief, my idea of a "good weather" has to do with a cloudy sky and snowfall...

Reminds me of a place where my late husband used to go on vacation on the gulf of Mexico. All the condos faced the beach. One could sit on the balcony and just watch the sea and hear this beautiful sound 24/7. I'd take a book out on the balcony thinking I would read, but I couldn't read. The ocean was so mesmerizing that I'd just nod off to the sound. With this video, I get to go back and enjoy the sound all over again.

I used to love going for walks during a snow event.I loved just standing still and listening to how quiet everything around me except for the snowflakes that I could hear landing on the tree branches..Sadly those days have become further and further apart..Because I left the mountains of Virginia at 19 to live in the state of South Carolina where snow rarely makes an appearance and certainly not one like this..

Historically, in literature and in the arts, Winter has always symbolized death or cessation of the life cycle. Strange, to me it has always been a season of renewal and of rebirth of all that is good and positive in life. From reading the very nice comments below, I perceive that I am not the only one who perceives Winter in this manner.
How can one doubt the divine or the sanctity of all life after witnessing the sacredness of snow? Every flake so beautifully unique, fragile, & fleeting.....like us. It's captivating accumulation on a landscape the seemingly effortless work of a master artist. Formless water transformed into a pure glowing masterpiece to captivate the eye & enliven the soul. There's something divine about snow, a tiny miracle to remind our hearts of hope, & Christ the Creator:"All things were made by Him; & without Him was not anything made that was made".Jn1:3
The best soundtrack is the noise of snow itself....but it is nearly unperceivable......
I whish to walk under those trees and think of nothing just clear my mind and relax just go into a wonder land of dreams and peace

Snow doesn't make sound when it falls. Wind makes sound. Rain make sound. Frozen rain and hail make sounds. I have been out in it a lot during my life and it is very quiet if there is no wind. Colder the air, the less brownian motion there is. It's just physics.
