🔥 SRV 🔥! Told you so my brother, take us to church men ! Nothing but greatness on that stage !thank you so much for dropping SRV. We here in the army of SRV truly appreciate it so much!
You would probably love watching SRV perform live with one of his mentors the great blues guitarist Albert King - Born Under A Bad Sign or with his brother Jimmie Vaughan - Pipeline :) His friend Jeff Healey was also great...I love their duet of Look at Little Sister and Jeff's live performance of See The Light :)
🌴wHaaa 🌴notice how SRV SOOOOO RESPECTFUL , HUMBLE to Mr. Copeland. He holds back so not to “outshine”him..🌴SRV was Not only a guitar-god but ALSO A TRUE GENUINE GOOD SOULED HUMAN. rip 🙏🏽SRV🙏🏽
Yooo appreciate this one, first time hearing this,my gawd the fucken hairs were standing and bumps were goosing lol you know what the hell I mean shit ....#OKSCEEZ🔥🔥
Playing with a guitar pick or fingers has to do with sound and technique. My brother and I both play guitar, he prefers a pick and it's a crisper/cleaner sound. I use my fingers, it's more grungy. For the nails I cut my strumming hand nails sharp in a triangle shape, like a "vampires nails" would look like. Also you have to build calluses on your finger tips, kind of like if you lift weights and calluses build on your palms... or if your a boxer, on your knuckles.
Regarding the 'pic' question, firstly it's the individuals preference, secondly it has to do with the style being played-like Stevie here is picking to get each 'single' note to be a crisp, clean and powerful feel-& yes strumming across as many strings is utilized as well among other techniques... When it comes to 'not' using a flat-pic,the fingers give the freedom to 'pluck' many desired notes of the 'key-chord' that which is the 'rithym' of the progression which Essentially follows the 'bass' in measures...like the Bass guitars role but expanded.Stevie is playing the 'lead' notes throughout the scale's accessing the freedom of expression throughout the general progression of the song...in a nutshell😅💥🔥🤘🎵🎸🎶
Why does God take the great ones every time I hear this man play for some reason my eyes start to water and I get that feeling in my throat that hurts I call it the love hurt
Please check out Stevie Ray Vaughan and Albert King "Blues at Sunrise "....just in case you might not know Albert King is the cousin of the legendary B.B King
Pick gives it a harder, clearer strike tone. Finger picking is a little softer, more nuanced. Most guitarists use picks but a lot of bassists go with just their fingers.
Whoo! Now this really is a doozy!!! Please react to Ain't Gon Give Up On Love...Change It....and Life Without You...all live at The Capitol Theatre!!!🙏💞✌️ What is going on tonight with all these banging reactions? Lol❤️🔥❤️🔥
Tracey is correct!! In that session they started in on an SRV song, but Stevie mistakenly starts with the 2nd verse lyrics. Little classic amusing music moment he and Albert shared.
Bruh, I love your SRV reacts. Nobody as an individual holds a candle to him…BUT! Check out Jimi Hendrix & the band of gypsies do machine gun. Live from the filmore. ONLY performance that bodes as competition. FACTS
I've been learning on this guitar thing about 5 years now. I can tell you that it can be very rewarding and very frustrating at the same time. I'd suggest you take it up. That said, here's some free advice, based upon MY experience and opinion. Others probably gave ideas and that's great, again, "opinions": 1. Don't buy into gear snobbery. The "crap" gear of today is really amazing. Will a $4,500 Fender strat sound better than a $200 Squier? Sure, but it won't sound $4,300 better. 2. Slow is smooth, smooth is quick. Practice stuff at a slow speed to gain muscle memory. 3. Practice/play at least something every day. 4. Check pawn shops for gear and take a player with you if at all possible. They'll know what problems to watch out for that a person new to learning will miss.
R.I.P. Stevie Ray Vaughan and Johnny Copeland.

Damn you are dropping some good stuff tonight. ❤️✌️
Dude your reactions are literally some of the most fun and entertaining to watch you love music so damn much and it shows peace and love to you man
So so so good!!
The whiskey wine and gin almost got Stevie, but he made a heroic comeback…and then died in a terrible accident. So cruel.
Reason why they were laughing at the end is because Johnny forgot the words and SRV stepped in
I just love your reactions. Mainly because that’s how I feel about SRV. The 🐐
Ok Skeez ...check out the blues jam session with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Albert king

He isn't. He did lie and claim to be his half brother, but he was never either of those. Neither is Freddie King any relation.
Wow!
masterpiece
that’s a maNOOver right there! Lol

What ever feels right. Don t worry bout a pick
poor Johnny Copeland be like is my amp even on? 😅
Stank face king - greatest guitarist ever IMO, no doubt for blues. Such passion. This has to be one of the dirtiest blues songs and duets ever!!
LMAO
Tin Pan Alley at Capitol Theatre '85 is better IMO.
Sorry he’s very good but he ain’t the goat. That status
belongs to Roy Clark. Everybody else is fighting for second
Do NOT go down to Tin Pan Alley... just sayin
